摘要： A microcomputer includes an abnormality monitor unit, a rotation angle calculation unit and a current supply control unit. The abnormality monitor unit monitors an abnormality of the rotation angle sensor. The rotation angle calculation unit calculates an electrical angle based on angle information acquired from the rotation angle sensor and an abnormality state of the rotation angle sensor. The current supply control unit controls current supply to the winding sets based on the electrical angle. When an abnormality is detected in one of the sensor units, the rotation angle calculation unit calculates the electrical angle based on a hold value which is the electrical angle before the detection of abnormality during a period from the detection of abnormality to a final determination of the abnormality. When the abnormality of the sensor unit is finalized, the electrical angle is calculated based on the angle information of the other sensor unit which is normal.

摘要： A steering angle calculating circuit includes a first neutral point calculating circuit, a second neutral point calculating circuit, and an absolute angle calculating circuit. The first neutral point calculating circuit calculates a motor neutral point (θm01), based on a steering angle detected by a steering sensor and a rotation angle of a motor detected by the relative angle sensor, when a drive source for driving a vehicle is started. The second neutral point calculating circuit calculates a motor neutral point when the steering angle detected by the steering sensor falls within a predetermined angle range in which a specific stroke with respect to the steering angle is constant. After the motor neutral point is calculated by the second neutral point calculating circuit, the absolute angle calculating circuit calculates the steering angle as an absolute angle, using the motor neutral point calculated by the second neutral point calculating circuit.

摘要： Provided is a steering control apparatus capable of executing driving assistance control even during rotation angle sensor-less control. When an induced voltage generated in a motor is equal to or lower than a threshold voltage at an early stage of execution of the rotation angle sensor-less control and when the driving assistance control is executed based on a command value from a higher-level control apparatus, a second pre-addition angle that is based on the command value is used as a second addition angle in place of a first pre-addition angle that is based on a steering torque. Therefore, even in a situation in which the steering torque is not detected due to, for example, execution of driving assistance, an estimated electrical angle of the motor is calculated by integrating the second addition angle. Then, driving of the motor is controlled based on the calculated estimated electrical angle.

摘要： In a rotation detecting apparatus, while a switch is in an on state so that electrical power is supplied from a power source to a controller via the switch, the controller receives, as a first output signal, an output signal output from an output unit of a first rotation sensor, and receives, as a second output signal, an output signal output from an output unit of the second rotation sensor. The first output signal includes at least the first rotational information and the second rotational information based on the first rotation sensor, and the second output signal includes at least the first rotational information and the second rotational information based on the second rotation sensor. The controller determines whether there is a malfunction in each of the first and second rotation sensors as a function of the first output signal and the second output signal.

The apparatus further comprises a virtual torque signal generating means that in use is adapted to determine a third torque signal from a combination of the motor position signal and the absolute angular position signal produced by the processing means.

摘要： In a rotation detecting apparatus, a sensor includes a sensor element outputting a measurement value representing rotation of a detection target, and a circuit module. The circuit module includes a rotational angle calculator calculating, based on the measurement value, rotational angle information indicative of a rotational angle of the detection target. The rotational angle calculator generates a rotational angle signal including the rotational angle information. The circuit module includes a rotation number calculator calculating, based on the measurement value, rotation number information representing the number of rotations of the detection target. The rotation number calculator generates a rotation number signal including the rotation number information. An output unit outputs, as an output signal, a series of the rotational angle signal and the rotation number signal. A controller obtains the output signal from the communicator, and calculates, based on the output signal, information about the rotation of the detection target.
