摘要： There is provided a thermochromic writing instrument containing a thermochromic ink, which is capable of easily changing color of the handwriting of thermochromic ink by rubbing and also being quickly brought into a writing-capable state (pen-tip-projected state) or a stored state (pen-tip-retracted state) even when the user can use only one hand.The thermochromic writing instrument containing a thermochromic ink, wherein a writing body 8 is accommodated in a barrel 2 movably in a longitudinal direction, an operation portion 5 is provided on the outer surface of the barrel 2, a pen tip 81 of the writing body 8 is constituted so as to be projectable/retractable from/into a front-end hole 31 of the barrel 2 by operating the operation portion 5, the thermochromic ink 83 is contained in the inside of the writing body 8, the pen tip 81 capable of ejecting the thermochromic ink 83 is provided at the front end of the writing tool, and a friction portion 4 capable of thermally changing the color of the handwriting of the thermochromic ink 83 by the frictional heat generated when the handwriting is rubbed with the friction portion 4 is provided on the outer surface of the barrel 2.

摘要： A multicolor writing and painting instrument for writing and painting on a writing surface may include an ink-receiving surface which may be configured to receive a flow of one of a plurality of different colored inks. The instrument may include a nib configured to deliver the flow of ink received by the ink-receiving surface to the writing surface. The instrument may include a separate ink reservoir configured to hold each of the different colored inks. The instrument may include a fluid delivery system configured to controllably channel ink from any one of the ink reservoirs to the ink-receiving surface. The instrument may include a color selection control configured to enable a user to select one of the colored inks and to cause the fluid delivery system to deliver the selected colored ink from the reservoir which is holding this ink to the ink-receiving surface.

The nibs may be bundled together such that the tips of the nibs lie in substantially the same plane and approximately on the circumference of a common circle. The instrument may include an ink reservoir for each of the nibs within the tubular housing. Each ink reservoir may be configured to hold a colored ink.The instrument may include a single, hard, wear-resistant nib at an end of the tubular housing. The nib may have a writing surface. A plurality of tubes may each lead to the writing surface of the nib. The tubes may form a plurality of openings on the writing surface. The openings may be arranged in clusters of one or more openings. Each cluster of openings may lie approximately along a circumference of a common circle. There may be a separate ink reservoir within the tubular housing for each cluster of openings.

At least a part of the first marking device is moveable between an exposed position for marking on the desired surface, and a retracted position.
