摘要： A snowman making device includes hollow spheres each having a hollow outer sphere and a hollow inner sphere. The outer sphere is penetrated by a plurality of first openings. The inner sphere is located within the outer sphere and spaced from the outer sphere by a first distance. The spheres collect snow between the outer sphere and the inner sphere and upon an outer surface of the outer sphere as the hollow spheres are rolled in snow, thereby forming light weight snow spheres useful as body parts of a snowman. The inner sphere is penetrated by a plurality of second openings that permit the entry of snow into an interior of the inner sphere, thereby preventing movement of snow located between the outer sphere and the inner sphere. The inner and outer spheres are each formed as first and second joinable hemispheres. Accessory decorations can be attached to the spheres.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method for preparing three-dimensional actin structures having a well-defined shape and displaying improved mechanical rigidity. This method comprises the steps of (a) providing a polymerization solution comprising actin monomers, a branching agent and a capping agent, (b) providing at least one surface having thereon a pattern which is coated with a nucleating agent, and (c) contacting the at least one surface of step (b) with the polymerization solution of step (a) so as to induce the polymerization of actin and obtain the said desired three-dimensional actin structure. Applications of the present invention in various technological fields such as microelectronics are also provided.

摘要： A process includes the steps of: casting or coating a polyamic acid organic solvent solution on a support and drying the polyamic acid organic solvent solution thereon, so as to form a partially cured and/or partially dried polyamic acid film; dipping the polyamic acid film in tertiary amine or a solution of tertiary amine, or coating tertiary amine or a solution of tertiary amine on the polyamic acid film; and drying the film while imidizing the polyamic acid. In another process, a chemical converting agent and a catalyst are mixed in an organic solvent solution of polyamic acid. After casting and heating the mixture on a support, a partially cured and/or partially dried polyamic acid film is detached from the support. The film contains, with respect to the remaining volatile component, not less than 50 parts of catalyst, not more than 30 parts of solvent, and not more than 20 parts of chemical converting agent and/or a chemical converting agent derived component. The remaining amic acid is imidized and the film is dried.

The resulting articles have a very good balance of properties and significant ESCR.
