摘要： Methods and systems are described for the purification of contaminated air containing CO2, converting it into O2 by means of the use of microorganisms. Said methods and systems comprise the initial stages of capturing the air proceeding from a source of contaminated air containing CO2, such as an industrial plant, and subsequent physical catalysis of said contaminated air, passing it across plates which partially fix the CO2 in the form of calcium and/or magnesium carbonates. Subsequent to these stages the air is passed through fermenter tanks containing a culture comprising micoorganisms, and the culture is then passed through a tubing circuit wherein it is irradiated with light radiation of particular frequencies, intensities and durations, achieving maximised production of O2. By means of the systems and methods described the conversion of CO2 into O2 is achieved having an efficiency very superior to those known in the prior art.

摘要： A flue gas treatment system and a flue gas treatment method capable of drastically reducing operating cost and an amount of waste water and capable of controlling an amount of a NOx reducing agent and a mercury oxidation agent to be supplied are provided. The flue gas treatment system sprays an aqueous solution containing ammonium halide into a flue, reduces NOx and oxidizes mercury in a deNOx section, and removes SOx and the mercury in a desulfurization section. The flue gas treatment system adds at least one of ammonium sulfate and ammonium carbonate to waste water which is discharged from the desulfurization section and from which CaSO4 is separated to generate the ammonium halide. The waste water containing the ammonium halide is sprayed as the aqueous solution.

In some embodiments, the kiln also includes a calcination zone for converting limestone into lime and carbon dioxide in response to the heat energy from the combustion zone. The calcination zone includes an inlet for limestone, a conduit for directing the carbon dioxide to the combustion zone for use as a flood gas to control the heat energy, an outlet for directing the lime to a hydration chamber, and a carbon dioxide permeable membrane for separating the carbon dioxide in the calcination zone from other materials in the calcination zone and preventing the other materials from entering the conduit for directing the carbon dioxide.

The methods disclosed herein are unexpectedly efficient and cost effective, and can be applied to a stream comprising high concentration and large volume of NO and/or NO2.

摘要： A method and system for desulfurization comprising first and second metal oxides; a walled enclosure having an inlet and an exhaust for the passage of gas to be treated; the first and second metal oxide being combinable with hydrogen sulfide to produce a reaction comprising a sulfide and water; the first metal oxide forming a first layer and the second metal oxide forming a second layer within the walled surroundings; the first and second layers being positioned so the first layer removes the bulk amount of the hydrogen sulfide from the treated gas prior to passage through the second layer, and the second layer removes substantially all of the remaining hydrogen sulfide from the treated gas; the first metal oxide producing a stoichiometrical capacity in excess of 500 mg sulfur/gram; the second metal oxide reacts with the hydrogen sulfide more favorably but has a stoichometrical capacity which is less than the first reactant; whereby the optimal amount by weight of the first and second metal oxides is achieved by utilizing two to three units by weight of the first metal oxide for every unit of the second metal oxide.

摘要： An apparatus suitable for generating gaseous hydrocarbon fuel from a carbon based synthesis gas including a reaction chamber having a rotating shaft including a plurality of radial blades mixing and circulating carbon based synthesis gas and particulate catalyst upwardly generating gaseous hydrocarbon fuel, a stripping chamber located above the reaction chamber having a second axial rotating shaft including a plurality of radial blades driving hydrocarbon fuel radially outwardly, a source of hot stripping gas, an annular filter surrounding the stripping chamber and an annular gas collection chamber surrounding the filter. The blades in the stripping chamber are rotated independently at a greater velocity than the blades in the reaction chamber and the reaction is controlled by the temperature of the synthesis gas and the rotational velocity of the mixing blades in the reaction chamber.
