    • The present invention relates to a non-removable bridge dental prosthesis that enables an artificial tooth for replacing a damaged tooth to be conveniently and safely installed without need of an artificial dental root or removal of an adjacent tooth. According to the present invention, the non-removable bridge dental prosthesis consists of: an artificial tooth to be inserted into a region from which a tooth has been lost; a bridge tightly fixed to the rear surfaces of the teeth on either side of the region from which the tooth was lost, and having the artificial tooth inserted and fixed to the front thereof; and a coupling member for coupling the artificial tooth to the bridge. The non-removable bridge dental prosthesis: has the coupling member integrally installed on the rear surface of the artificial tooth; has a catching piece and a coupling projection formed so as to project and slope downward at a predetermined angle at the top and center of the coupling member; has a coupling hole formed in the bridge in a shape corresponding to the coupling projection and located at a position where the coupling projection of the coupling member is formed; has the coupling member, which is integrally installed on the artificial tooth, diagonally inserted into the region from which the tooth was lost; has the coupling projection inserted in the coupling hole of the bridge fixed on the teeth on either side of the region from which the tooth was lost; and simultaneously, has the catching piece caught on the top end of the bridge so as to firmly fix the artificial tooth to the region from which the tooth was lost.

    • The present invention relates to a partial denture that includes a series of artificial teeth along with an opening formed on a ridge portion of the denture for allowing existing teeth to extend therethrough. In a preferred embodiment the partial denture is basically comprised of a relatively hard acrylic material. Around the opening formed in the ridge there is provided a relatively soft material and this includes an elastic strip that is formed in the partial denture adjacent the opening formed in the ridge for existing teeth. The elastic strip is molded adjacent the ridge opening and is particularly integrally molded with the relatively hard acrylic material that forms a substantial part of the partial denture. To assure a secure connection between the elastic retainer strip and the relatively hard acrylic material, there is provided a generally curved S-shaped molded joint between each end of the elastic retainer strip and the relatively hard acrylic material.

    • The dental locking clasp member comprises a U-shaped piece having twin arms with substantially flat parallel opposing inner surfaces connected to an anchor portion having a plurality of anchor grooves. When the additional auxiliary parts are made of wax the entire locking clasp member may be used with a wax pattern to produce a completed partial casting with the appropriate locking clasp in a single casting operation which does not require reworking.

    • An extra coronal attachment (denture) comprises a cylindrical anchor member formed as part of a crown to be attached to a natural tooth, including a cylindrical anchor surface having a predetermined angular relation to the jaw. A replaceable clip is included in a socket formed in the partial denture, and has a semi-cylindrical cavity constructed to fit closely over the anchor surface, having sufficient flexibility to be forced onto and off of the anchor surface. The anchor surface preferably is a groove formed in the cylinder, and the clip is proportioned to snap into the groove. Also, the clip is dimensioned so as to allow its side walls to flex during attachment and removal of the denture. The denture, when in place, has essentially stress free or stress isolated connections to the crowns. The clip may be constructed as an integral part of the denture, but preferably is a replaceable piece snapped into a socket integrated into a partial denture. There is also disclosed a process of constructing extra coronal attachments for partial dentures, incorporating the anchor members and clips.
