    • A reciprocating compressor provided with a piston, which is compact and having high sealing performance is provided. A reciprocating compressor includes: a low-pressure compressor unit having a low-pressure piston and a low-pressure cylinder for compressing air with the low-pressure piston reciprocating while oscillating within the low-pressure cylinder; a high-pressure compressor unit having a high-pressure piston and a high-pressure cylinder for further compressing the air compressed in the low-pressure compressor unit with the high-pressure piston reciprocating while oscillating within the high-pressure cylinder; and a motor for driving the low-pressure compressor unit and the high-pressure compressor unit. A maximum tilt angle during oscillation of the low-pressure piston is made larger than a maximum tilt angle during oscillation of the high-pressure piston.

Therefore, in the PDP 10, the front plate 16, the rear plate 18, and the discharge electrodes 46, 48 are free of distortions resulting from a heat treatment that would otherwise be carried out to form the electrodes.

    • A system for transferring video data includes a difference detector for detecting the difference between a current field information and the preceding field information. The preceding information is obtained from an entered interlaced video signal. An interpolator generates current display frame information in response to an interpolation based upon the current filed information with regard to an area of the video signal in which there is a difference value between successive fields that exceeds a predetermined threshold value. The interframe difference between the current display frame information and preceding display frame information is detected by the difference detector. Only the interframe difference is transferred over a system bus to enable a frame display to be presented on non-interlacing display device.
