    • The present invention extends to methods, systems, and computer program products for para-virtualized GPGPU computation and GDI acceleration. Some embodiments provide a compute shader to a guest application within a para-virtualized environment. A vGPU in a child partition presents compute shader DDIs for performing GPGPU computations to a guest application. A render component in a root partition receives compute shader commands from the vGPU and schedules the commands for execution at the physical GPU. Other embodiments provide GPU-accelerated GDI rendering capabilities to a guest application within a para-virtualized environment. A vGPU in a child partition provides an API for receiving GDI commands, and sends GDI commands and data to a render component in a root partition. The render component schedules the GDI commands on a 3D rendering device. The 3D rendering device executes the GDI commands at the physical GPU using a sharable GDI surface.

    • A power split transmission includes a rotatable input shaft, a rotatable output shaft, and a planetary gear assembly connected between the input shaft and the output shaft. The transmission also includes a first hydraulic unit operable as a pump or a motor, the first hydraulic unit being coupled to the output shaft via the planetary gear assembly; a second hydraulic unit operable as a pump or a motor, the second hydraulic unit being coupled to the output shaft independently of the planetary gear assembly; and a braking mechanism coupled to the input shaft that is selectively engageable to retard rotation of the input shaft in at least one direction. The braking mechanism enables the power split transmission to use both the first hydraulic unit and the second hydraulic unit to provide enhanced torque at the output shaft without damaging a prime mover coupled to the input shaft.

    • A method for establishing a bearer for a GSM network is disclosed in embodiments of the present invention. The method includes: receiving, by a Media Gateway, a message for adding a wireless side end point, assigning an IP address and a port number for a call and transmitting a response message containing the IP address and the port number assigned for the call; acquiring, by the Media Gateway, the IP address and the port number assigned for the call by the Base Station Controller via the Mobile Switching Center Server and establishing an IP bearer with the Base Station Controller. A device and a system for establishing a bearer for a GSM network are also disclosed in embodiments of the present invention. With the present invention, a full or part path transcoder-free operation may be realized, which can avoid quality reduction and transmission delay.
