摘要： Copolymers of hydroxyalkyl vinyl ethers are obtainable by cationic or free radical copolymerization of(a) from 99 to 1% by weight of a hydroxyalkyl vinyl ether,(b) from 1 to 99% by weight of an adduct of a C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 -alkylene oxide with a hydroxyalkyl vinyl ether and(c) from 0 to 98% by weight of other copolymerizable monomers,and the stated copolymer and hydroxyalkyl vinyl ethers polymerized by cationic or free radical polymerization, which contain the monomers (a) or (b) as sole monomers or as a mixture with other copolymerizable monomers in the form of polymerized units, are used as additives for detergents and cleaning agents in amounts of from 0.1 to 50% by weight.

摘要： The particle size is controlled in the preparation of hydrophilic polymer powders by polymerization of water-soluble monoethylenically unsaturated monomers in a powder bed in the presence of a polymerization initiator and an inert auxiliary liquid by a method in which a solution of the monomers in an inert auxiliary liquid is divided into fine drops with the aid of a multimaterial nozzle which dips into the powder bed, using an inert gas stream, and the particle size of the resulting polymer powder is regulated by varying the amount of inert gas.

摘要： Copolymers useful in amounts of from 0.1 to 15% by weight as grayness inhibiting and primary detergency boosting additives in pulverulent liquid detergents have K values of from 10 to 80 (determined by Fikentscher in dimethylformamide at 25.degree. C. with a polymer concentration of 2% by weight) and are obtainable by copolymerizing monomer mixtures of(a) from 10 to 60% by weight of water-soluble monomers obtainable from (A) water-soluble polyalkylene glycols or (B) water-soluble alkoxylated C.sub.1 -C.sub.25 -alcohols, for example by esterification with C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 -carboxylic acids, by vinylation with acetylene or by allylation with alkenyl ethers, or by reaction with ammonia to give the corresponding end group aminated compounds (A) or (B) and by reaction with monoethylenically unsaturated C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 -carboxylic acids to form the amides, and(b) from 40 to 90% by weight of vinyl esters of saturated monocarboxylic acids and/or alkyl esters of monoethylenically unsaturated C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 -monocarboxylic acidsat up to 160.degree. C. in inert solvents in the presence of from 0.1 to 5% by weight, based on the monomers, of polymerization initiators, and, if the amount of initiator is less than 2% by weight, additionally in the presence of polymerization regulators.
