摘要： A system and method for displaying obstacles in a conformal perspective view. The system comprises a display screen for graphical display of data, at least one obstacle data source, one or more graphics processors for receiving obstacle data from the at least one obstacle data source, and for providing input to the display screen. The display screen displays obstacles in a 3-dimensional graphical representation of real space. The display size of the obstacles varies based on the distance to the obstacles. Obstacles located beyond a selected distance are displayed as semi-transparent line objects and obstacles located within the selected distance are displayed as semi-transparent polygons.

A method comprises rendering a perspective view of terrain on a display device and obtaining sensor data for a sensing region overlapping at least a portion of the viewing region. The method further comprises obtaining tracking data associated with a first object located within the sensing region and correlating a first portion of the sensor data that corresponds to the first object with the tracking data. The method further comprises rendering a graphical representation of the first object on the display device, wherein positioning of the graphical representation of the first object with respect to the terrain is influenced by the correlation with first portion of the sensor data.

The processor is configured to command the display unit to display a first image corresponding to the first signal, to display a second image overlaid over the first image corresponding to the second signal, and to modify the appearance of the second image to enhance the pilot's ability to discern the first image.

摘要： System and method increase the visibility of critical flight information on electronic displays. An aircraft display system includes a processing unit, a flight management system, a navigation system, a database for storing target data and terrain data, a graphics display generator, and a visual display. The flight management system and/or the navigation system provide real-time aircraft operational and flight control information. The processing unit directs the graphics display generator to generate graphic control signals for the visual display, which increase the transparency of a segment of a zero pitch reference line in the vicinity of a flight path marker on the display.

摘要： A flight deck display system for an aircraft includes a processor architecture configured to receive aircraft instrument data, waypoint restriction information, and position data for the aircraft and, based upon the received data, generate image rendering display commands. The system also includes a display element configured to receive the image rendering display commands and, in response thereto, to render a display that includes a perspective view of terrain and at least one waypoint marker corresponding to an approaching waypoint. The waypoint marker includes visually distinguishable characteristics that convey waypoint restriction information (e.g., altitude or airspeed constraint information that governs the waypoint).
