    • A vibration isolating bushing including: an elastic body disposed in between and elastically connecting an inner sleeve and an outer sleeve surrounding the inner sleeve. The elastic body has two pairs of axial bores diametrically opposed to each other and axially extends therethrough between the inner and outer sleeves to be independent of each other, and is circumferentially divided in terms of stress transmission by the two pairs of axial bores into two pairs of segments diametrically opposed to each other. Two diametric lines, extending in directions in which the two pairs of axial bores are respectively opposed to each other, intersect obliquely so that the two pairs of segments are made different from each other in their circumferential lengths for differentiating spring characteristics of the bushing in two diametric directions in which said two pairs of segments are opposed to each other, respectively.

    • A cylindrical vibration-damping device includes: a rubber bushing having a rubber elastic body elastically connecting an inner sleeve and a resin outer sleeve; a rigid mounting member having a cylindrical bore into which the rubber bushing is press fit; an engaging stepped face formed on an inner surface of the mounting member; and an engaged stepped face produced on an outer surface of the outer sleeve once the outer sleeve is press fit into the cylindrical bore of the mounting member, by means of elastic deformation of the outer sleeve. The engaged stepped face is opposed to the engaging stepped face in an axial direction of the device, and is brought into engagement with the engaging stepped face so as to exhibit a resistance to dislodging of the rubber bushing from the mounting member in at least one of opposite axial directions. The method of producing the same is also disclosed.

    • A fluid-filled vibration damping bushing including an inner tubular metal member and an outer peripheral sleeve elastically connected via a base rubber interposed therebetween with first and second fluid chambers formed therein. A stopper rubber constituted as a separate element from the base rubber, disposed at a circumferential location corresponding at a minimum to either the first or second fluid chamber, for restricting relative displacement of the inner tubular metal member and outer tubular metal member in an axis-perpendicular direction. The stopper rubber is formed separately from an orifice member and bonded to one axial end portion of the outer tubular metal member at a location outside the first and second fluid chambers so as to face toward the inner tubular member. The outer tubular metal member with the stopper rubber attached thereto is inserted onto the outer peripheral sleeve from the other axial end thereof.

    • A dynamic damper for damping vibration of a rotary shaft. The dynamic damper includes a tubular mass member and a rubber elastic member. The rubber elastic member includes an attachment tube press-fitted onto the rotary shaft and an arm. The attachment tube is disposed coaxially with the mass member but nearer to an axial center thereof than the mass member. The arm connects the attachment tube to the mass member. The attachment tube includes a tubular support portion connected to the arm, a tubular attachment portion, and a tubular coupling portion for coupling the tubular support portion with the tubular attachment portion. The tubular attachment portion has larger interference than the tubular support portion.

    • Disclosed is a fluid-tight vibration damping device including a first and a second mounting member elastically connected with each other by an elastic body interposed therebetween, a primary fluid chamber filled with a non-compressible fluid and partially defined by the elastic body and a movable rubber plate partially defining the primary fluid chamber by one of its opposite surfaces. An engaging member is disposed to be opposed to the other surfaces of the movable rubber plate with a spacing therebetween. The engaging member is adapted to be engaged with an engaging portion integrally formed with the movable rubber plate to restrict an amount of displacement of the movable rubber plate in directions toward and away from the interior of the primary fluid chamber.
