An insulation layer for impedance value adjustment is formed throughout a principal surface of a first magnetic substrate. Coil patterns and insulation layers are alternately formed on that layer. Parts of the insulation layers other than the insulation layer for impedance value adjustment are removed in either or both of a central region surrounded by the coil patterns and a region around the coil patterns. A resin including magnetic powder is provided on the uppermost insulation layer and the regions where the insulation layers have been removed, and a second magnetic substrate is bonded through a bonding layer.

摘要： A common-mode filter with a drum type core including a core portion and flange portions. Electrodes are provided on the flange portions and a pair of wires are wound on the core portion. The wound pair of wires have ends connected to respective ones of the electrodes. Each of the flange portions has a groove between corresponding two of the electrodes and a separation protrusion for separating the groove into two lead-out groove portions. The pair of wires are wound on the core portion in such a distributed winding manner that an inter-wire distance between the pair of wires and a winding pitch between adjacent turns in each of the pair of wires are provided. The wires are one-by-one led out through the lead-out groove portions while separated by the separation protrusions so that the ends of the pair of wires are connected to respective electrodes.

摘要： This Application is intended to provide a method for effectively protecting paper or film-form media against forgery. This can be achieved by, for example, embedding in a paper or film-form medium a thin semiconductor chip up to 0.5 mm square, equipped with an antenna, and characterized in that the side walls of the semiconductor chip are formed using oxide films, and in that multiple such semiconductor chips are separated by etching. Limiting the size of these semiconductor chips to 0.5 mm or less enables improvement against bending and concentrated loads, and separating the semiconductor chips by etching results in semiconductor chips free from cracking and breakage. Also, the oxide films constituting the side walls of the semiconductor chips prevents short-circuiting at edges during connection to the respective antennas. Thus, simplified processes can be adopted.
