摘要： An object of the invention is to reduce the charging overvoltage by using a positive electrode member which does not contain a carbon material that causes the generation of lithium carbonate (Li2CO3), and which comprises a metal porous material, thereby suppressing the formation of lithium carbonate (Li2CO3). The metal air secondary battery of the invention is characterized by having a negative electrode member which has metal ions occluded therein and emits metal ions, a positive electrode member which ionizes oxygen, and a separator which is impregnated with an electrolyte and disposed between the negative electrode member and the positive electrode member, wherein the carbon weight in the total weight of a carrier, a catalyst, and a binder constituting the positive electrode member is 50% or less.

摘要： A lithium-ion rechargeable battery module having a plurality of lithium-ion battery cells, arranged that battery cells located at an high temperature portion of the module are electrically connected in parallel with battery cells located at a low temperature portion of the module. The battery cells at the high temperature portion have a higher electric resistance at 20° C. and a better high-temperature storage characteristic at 50° C. than those of the battery cells located at the low temperature portion.

摘要： An in-vehicle charge control system includes a vehicle-state detector that detects a running state of a vehicle, a battery-state detector that detects a charge level of an in-vehicle battery, a fuel-efficiency-enhancement controller that predicts a discharge amount to be discharged by the battery under a discharge condition, sets a lower limit of the battery charge level on the basis of the battery charge level detected by the detector such that the lower limit of the battery charge level is higher than a battery charge level at which the battery begins to degrade by the predicted discharge amount, and controls a power generation amount of a vehicle generator according to the vehicle state detected by the detector. The system with this configuration can maintain the battery charge level and enhance the fuel efficiency simultaneously under practical use conditions.

摘要： In a fuel cells power generation system provided with a power generation module having a plurality of fuel cells, the structure is made such that a cross sectional area of at least one of a fuel flow path and an air flow path is larger in an inner portion of the power generation module and smaller in an outer portion thereof. Accordingly, gas tends to flow through the inner portion of the power generation module, a gas flow rate is quickened, and it is possible to uniformize a molar flow rate of the fuel and the air supplied to the fuel cell, even in a state in which a temperature distribution of the module is not uniform within the power generation module.
