    • A method for electronically signing an electronic transcript. The method includes obtaining an image of a court reporter's signature which may be incorporated into an electronic transcript. A hash operation performed on the electronic transcript to generate a representation of the contents of the electronic transcript. The representation of the contents of the electronic transcript is recorded/time stamped by a digital notary service, from which a notary record of the time stamping is obtained from the digital notary service. The notary record is digitally signed, and an electronically signed electronic transcript is formed by bundling the digitally signed notary record with the electronic transcript and with the data identifying the user. In this manner, an electronic transcript with an electronic signature is created. The electronic transcript may be viewed, with the image displayed in the viewer having an image of the court reporter's signature.

    • One aspect of the present disclosure relates to a method or determining location(s) at which at least one magnetic article is to be positioned during a magnetic resonance imaging procedure of at least one subject. A magnetic field Bo is applied to a region that includes the at least one subject and does not include the at least one magnetic article. First magnetic resonance information about the region in response to the applied magnetic field BO is received. The first magnetic resonance information relates at least in part to one or more magnetic field inhomogeneities in the region. Based at least in part on the first magnetic resonance information, at least one first location proximate the at least one subject at which at least one paramagnetic article and/or diamagnetic article is to be positioned is determined, so as to at least partially compensate for the one or more magnetic field inhomogeneities.

    • An electronic file such as an HTML web page accessible via a browser by a user. The electronic file may include one or more textual field descriptors for display within the browser; one or more editable data fields associated with the textual field descriptors, the editable data fields for receiving data for the user of the browser; and a module having a view mode and an edit mode, the view mode for displaying the textual field descriptors, the edit mode for permitting the user to enter data in the editable data fields. In one example, the view mode may be invoked when the electronic file is open in the browser. The edit mode may be invoked only if the browser contains a control for activating the edit mode. In this way, the user is able to edit the data in the document and retransmit the document to other users who can only view the data as read-only data.

    • A device and method for permitting access to a real time data stream through prepayments or other payment arrangements and/or calculating a fee corresponding to usage of a real time data stream, wherein the real time data stream includes transcript data from a court transcription. In one example, a device may include a data collection device for receiving prepayment data, such as a code, key, token, pass that may contain purchase units therein; and a counter. In one embodiment, if the counter contains a value representing unused real time connections, then the data collection device permits the computing device to access to the real time data stream. In one example, the prepayment data includes a code containing a number representing a quantity of connections that may be made to the real time data stream. In another example, a method may include receiving the real time data stream; extracting one or more billing data elements from the real time data stream; storing said one or more billing data elements for processing; and calculating the fee based on at least one of the one or more billing data elements. In this way, charges may be calculated and levied or itemized according to the usage of such a real time service during a court proceeding such as a deposition.
