    • A motor controller is provided which can be reduced in the number of the wirings and power semiconductor devices required while maintaining the function equivalent to or higher than that of the motor controller adopting the existing winding changeover scheme, thereby realizing cost and size reduction and life increase. The motor is made in a structure having motor windings opened at both ends. The one end terminals of phase windings are respectively connected to the output terminals of a first inverter circuit while the other end terminals are respectively connected to the output terminals of a second inverter circuit. During power generation, any one of the inverter circuits is driven on all the phases by means of a same control pulse.

    • Reinforcing body retainers are formed on an inner peripheral surface near a tip and near a root of first and second claw-shaped magnetic poles. Reinforcing bodies have a trapezoidal base portion and a pair of wing portions formed on two sides of the base portion, and slits are formed completely across a width direction of the base portion at a central portion in a height direction of the trapezoidal shape of the base portion so as to be offset toward a base of the trapezoidal shape.     • An inverter-integrated electrical rotating machine is provided in which each switching device of an inverter and power wiring and control wiring for connecting them can be highly protected electrically and mechanically while the cooling property of the switching devices can be improved. Cooling air flows led in from cooling air flow suction holes in an end wall of an inverter case simultaneously flow in parallel from the cooling air flow suction holes on inner and outer sides in the radial direction. The cooling air flows then penetrate an inverter device in an axial direction through an outer circumferential cooling air passage formed by an outer circumferential lateral plate part and an inner circumference of the inverter case and an inner circumferential cooling air passage formed between an inner circumferential lateral plate part and a cover surrounding a rotary shaft. The cooling air flows are then led into a motor housing from a cooling air flow suction hole of the housing.

    • The invention provides a rotor for a dynamo-electric machine which is capable of reducing deformation of magnetic poles due to centrifugal force or noise generated by vibrations without deteriorating characteristics of the dynamo-electric machine. The rotor includes a plurality of deformation preventing members. Each of the deformation preventing members is attache on each magnetic. Each of the deformation preventing members has elongated portion pressed to aginst to the side wall of the magnetic poles. A first deformation preventing members attached on the first magnetic poles and a second deformation preventing members attached on the second magnetic poles also are used. The first and second deformation preventing menber are holded to one another.
