摘要： In order to provide sound absorbing structure capable of reducing the noise of electronic equipment while maintaining the cooling capability of the electronic equipment, there is provided sound absorbing structure in which a plurality of penetrating openings are provided by arranging a plurality of acoustic materials having a predetermined shape at predetermined intervals in a flow channel of cooling fluid from a blower, and the plurality of acoustic materials are arranged so that the sound vertically incident on a penetrating plane of the penetrating openings from the blower does not directly go out of the electronic equipment.

摘要： A power recovery chamber is used for a positive-displacement power recovery apparatus in the seawater desalination plant or system. The power recovery chamber includes a cylinder, a piston disposed in the cylinder and capable of being reciprocated in a longitudinal direction of the cylinder, and a piston guide disposed in the cylinder and extending in the longitudinal direction of the cylinder for guiding the piston when the piston is reciprocated in the longitudinal direction of the cylinder. At least a part of an outer circumferential surface of the piston is out of contact with an inner surface of the cylinder, and the piston is brought into contact with the piston guide at a part where the piston guide passes through the piston.

摘要： An ink jet recording head comprises an ink tank, a nozzle for discharging ink, a liquid chamber for retaining a specific amount of ink supplied from the ink tank through a filter, while supplying ink to the nozzle, and a covering member to be bonded to the liquid chamber, and on the circumference of the liquid chamber, a groove is formed to enable bonding agent to be coated therefor, and on the circumference of the covering member, an extrusion is formed to be fitted into the groove. For this ink jet recording head, gas releasing means is provided for releasing gas remaining in the bonding agent to the outside of the groove when the covering member is bonded to the liquid chamber by fitting the extrusion into the groove after the bonding agent is coated in the groove. With the structure thus arranged, it is possible to prevent leakage form occurring between liquid chambers, because voids are not formed by gas remaining in the bonding agent, which may connect liquid chambers adjacent to each other, and each of the liquid chambers is airtightly closed in the ink jet recording head for a better performance thereof.

摘要： A method for manufacturing liquid jet recording heads, each provided with discharge ports to discharge liquid, a discharge port plate having the discharge ports arranged therefor, and performing ablation processing of holes becoming the discharge ports by use of a mask for projecting the image of the mask onto the discharge port plate with coherent laser beam as light source, comprises the following steps of forming water-repellent layer on the surface of the discharge port plate on the liquid discharge side; and of performing the ablation processing by irradiating the laser beam from the reverse side of the surface of discharge port plate having the water-repellent layer formed thereon in a state of such surface being arranged to be under the atmosphere containing fluorine atom, and forming the discharge ports, at the same time, enabling the substance containing the fluorine atom excited by the laser beam to adhere to the surface having the water-repellent layer formed thereon. In this manner, the throughput of product manufacture is enhanced without any provision of extra processing steps to remove the byproducts to be created by the irradiation of laser beam, hence contributing to a significant cost reduction of the manufacture of liquid jet recording heads.
