    • A beer filtering device of a filter press type for filtering a beer stock. The beer filter device includes a plurality of filter plates (4) and a plurality of filter frames (6) arranged side by side in alternate relationship to each other. A filter element (28) is supported to each filter plate (4). A stock line (66) for supplying a beer stock and a filtrate line (68) for discharging a filtrate of the beer stock are so formed as to penetrate through the filter plates and the filter frames in the thickness direction thereof. The stock line and the filtrate line are sealed by a plurality of stock line seals (48) and a plurality of filtrate line seals (74), respectively, each interposed between the filter plate and the filter frame adjacent to each other in a filtering step. A plurality of washer liquid seals (76) are provided outside the stock line seals and the filtrate line seals in such a manner that each washer liquid seal is interposed between the filter plate and the filter frame adjacent to each other. In a washing step, a space defined by the filter plates and the filter frames is sealed by the washer liquid seals under the condition where the sealed condition of the stock line and the filtrate line by the stock line seals and the filtrate line seals is released. In this condition, a washer liquid is circulated in the sealed space defined by the washer liquid seals to thereby extensively wash and sterilize the interior of the beer filtering device.

    • A device for fastening a belt or the like, which comprises a first and a second component member. The first component member comprises a base plate, a pair of upstanding side walls and a cross rod having its opposite ends connected to the top ends of the side walls so that the base plate, the side walls and the cross rod form a frame defining a passage through which the belt or the like is to be passed. A bearing recess is formed in the inner surface of each of the side walls. The second component member comprises a body portion and a fastening portion extending angularly from one end of the body portion. The body portion is provided at the one end with a pair of pintles axially aligned and laterally outwardly projecting in opposite directions from the opposite lateral sides of the body portion and in the upper surface thereof with a bearing groove extending adjacent the one end of the body portion and in parallel with the common axis of the aligned pintles. The body portion is further provided at the opposite end with a slot for the belt to be attached to the second component member. The first and second component members are assembled with each of the pintles being engaged in one of the bearing recesses and the cross rod being engaged in the bearing groove so that the second component member is pivotable about the cross rod of the first component member.

    • A rear implement mounting frame construction for a tractor is disclosed. The construction comprises a pair of mounting frames attached respectively to right and left sides of a tractor body. Each of these mounting frames comprises a plate member having a plate thickness oriented along the right/left direction. Each mounting frame also includes a case mounting portion that is connected to a rear axle case of the tractor body and a vertical connecting portion formed rearwardly of the case mounting portion which connects a rear implement. A bent portion formed between the case mounting portion and the vertical connecting portion causes the vertical connecting portion to be disposed closer to the tractor body than the case mounting portion. A right/left distance between the vertical connecting portions is set smaller than a right/left distance between the case mounting portions.
