摘要： In effecting individual cylinder fuel injection quantity control in an electronically controlled diesel engine, wherein rpm variation with every explosion cylinder is detected, and a fuel injection quantity spill control actuator is controlled with every cylinder so as to eliminate a dispersion in rpm variation between the cylinders, so that engine vibrations due to the dispersion in fuel injection quantity between the cylinders can be reduced, timing of a control command to the fuel injection quantity spill control actuator is determined in accordance with engine speed and engine load to avoid both a delay in control to a cylinder to be corrected and interference with the injection of fuel to a cylinder immediately before the cylinder to be corrected, and a control command for every cylinder is given to the fuel injection quantity spill control actuator at the determined timing.

摘要： In controlling a time period of energization of a high pressure electromagnetic valve (50) in accordance with a target value of a fuel injection quantity determined from at least an engine speed (Ne) and an engine load, when a target indicated value (theta) of the time period of energization determined from at least the engine speed and the engine load is lower than a zero indicated value (theta.sub.0) of the time period of energization when the fuel injection quantity becomes zero, which is determined from the engine speed, the energization of the high pressure electromagnetic valve is cut off. Therefore, the duty cycle of the high pressure electromagnetic valve is decreased thereby increasing the reliability of the valve. In addition, fuel is reliably cut off when the fuel injection quantity is 0 mm.sup.3 /st thus avoiding fuel leakage and preventing the generation of white exhaust smoke. Fuel economy can therefore be improved.

摘要： A TV receiver which is connected to a BD player via a HDMI cable. The TV receiver comprises a display and a BD loader. When the BD player receives the command to perform a reproduction, the BD player transmits the CEC command for instructing the TV receiver to turn the power on. The TV receiver detects whether or not a BD disc is put in the BD loader. As a result of the detection, when the BD disc is put in the BD loader and also when the display can display a superimposed image, the TV receiver displays image contents read out from the BD disc on the display. Subsequently, the TV receiver displays a message which prompts the user to select whether or not to eject the BD disc. When “YES” is selected, the TV receiver ejects the BD disc.

When the electric power is switched off, an EPG data of a channel which will be lost the earliest is searched among the EPG data stored in the memory, and a time of day when the EPG data of the searched channel is lost is calculated. When a time for taking new EPG data reaches, the tuner is tuned to the channel, and a TV broadcast signal is received and a new EPG data is extracted from the received TV broadcast signal and stored in the memory.

摘要： A lean burn internal combustion engine wherein a basic fuel amount is calculated from a map based on the intake pressure and the engine speed, and a lean correction factor, which is multiplied by the basic fuel amount, is calculated from a lean map based on the intake pressure and engine speed. A second lean map based on the throttle opening and engine speed is provided for obtaining a lean correction factor when the degree of opening of the throttle valve is larger than a predetermined value. A lean sensor is provided for obtaining a signal indicating the air fuel ratio for carrying out a feedback control. The lean sensor is provided with a heater for controlling the temperature of the sensing element of the heater. A basic map for the heater power, which is based on the intake pressure and engine speed, is provided, and a correction map for the heater power is provided for reducing the heater power from the value obtained from the basic map when the lean map based on the intake pressure and engine speed is employed for obtaining the lean air-fuel mixture, to prevent thermal damage to the sensor element.

摘要： In an internal combustion engine, a vibration period and a vibration amplitude are measured and the detected vibration period is compared with a natural vibration period prestored in accordance with a driving condition of the vehicle. If the detected vibration period is equal to the natural vibration period under the driving condition at which the vibration period is detected, it is determined that surging due to a torque variation of the engine is occurring. In this condition, the torque variation is controlled to be a predetermined value by increasing an air-fuel ratio or decreasing an amount of EGR when the detected vibration amplitude is smaller than a predetermined value, and the torque variation is controlled to a predetermined value by decreasing an air-fuel ratio or increasing an amount of EGR when the detected vibration amplitude is larger than a predetermined value, and accordingly, the driveability and emission rate are improved.
