    • A sequence association game in which a participant may play one or more games against the machine and/or other participants utilizes a microprocessor for controlling the play of the games and also for generating a random sequence for each play of the game. The machine generates a random sequence correspondence between a plurality of participant actuated controls and a plurality of machine actuated indicators. The participant attempts to actuate the indicators by correctly establishing the random-generated correspondence between the controls and the indicators in an attempt to actuate all the indicators in sequence such as from left to right. The participant attempts to actuate the indicators with the least number of attempts by attempting to remember the association between respective controls and indicators from previous attempts. When played between two participants, each participant attempts to actuate or deactuate a designated set of indicators by operating a designated set of controls with the participant first succeeding being the winner. Two participants may also play with one participant starting from the left of the indicator sequence and one participant starting at the right with each attempting to actuate the maximum number of indicators with play proceeding until all the indicators are actuated.

    • A game apparatus providing a challenge or test of manipulative skills to be performed within a predetermined time period, the length of which may be partially controlled by the operator. The apparatus provides a timed, sequential release of color coded playing pieces which traverse an inclined path of travel to be manually captured by the player of the game. The player attempts to deposit the playing pieces in particular locations in a depository array as dictated by one of a plurality of playing cards including indicia associated with the color coded playing pieces. The depository array includes a plurality of subsets, each of which includes an ejector mechanism, which, upon actuation, ejects the playing pieces deposited within that particular subset. Each particular subset of the depository array is associated with a timing mechanism so that the actuation of the associated ejector mechanism can be successfully delayed by skillful operation of a plurality of delay control devices. The playing piece ejectors of all of the depository array subsets are actuated after the last of a predetermined number of playing pieces have been released. This ejector actuator can be successfully disabled after completion of the array by deactivation of the times as dictated by the rules of the game.

    • An apparatus for creating designs on a substrate such as a sheet of paper includes a frame with a platen mounted on the top thereof. The platen is loosely mounted for vibratory movement relative to the frame. A drive cam, through a link system, is connected to the platen to slowly move the platen in one direction and then rapidly move the platen in a directly opposite direction. A writing implement, such as a pen or pencil, is mounted in a generally vertical position on the substrate on top of the platen, to move with the platen as it is driven slowly in a first direction and then to move relative to the platen as it rapidly returns. The link means is selectively manually rotatable to permit changing the orientation of the vibratory movement of the platen and substrate.

    • A trainer tee and guide assembly that creates a target zone leading a bat swung by a player toward a ball placed at a fixed elevated position above ground. The acceptance angle of the target zone is adjustable to accommodate different angles of swing as the player gains greater skill in the course of training. The assembly includes a U-shaped frame having upper and lower horizontal branches whose free ends terminate in vertically-separated blocks between which the ball is placed, the frame being raised to place the ball at a level appropriate to the height of the player. Pivoted on the blocks are upper and lower guide arms which extend laterally to the left or right of the blocks to define a target zone whose angle of acceptance depends on the angular orientation of the arms. The arms are angularly adjustable to vary the acceptance angle in a range going from a low skill angle in which the arms diverge in opposite directions about 45 degrees from the horizontal to accommodate large angle swings of the bat, to a high skill angle in which the arms are nearly parallel to each other to accommodate a level swing of the bat affording maximum power.
