These elastomers comprise the reaction product of an allophanate-modified diphenylmethane diisocyanate prepolymer having an NCO group content of about 5 to about 30%, with an isocyanate-reactive component comprising a high molecular weight amine-terminated polyether polyol, an aromatic diamine chain extender, and, optionally, a chain extender or crosslinker selected from the group consisting of aliphatic amine terminated polyether polyols and aliphatic hydroxyl terminated polyether polyols, optionally, in the presence of an internal mold release agent, a surfactant and a filler.

C. on a sample having a solids content of 100% and containing less than 2% by weight of unreacted diisocyanates a) and b), and iii) contains isocyanurate groups and allophanate groups in a molar ratio of 10:1 to 1:10, wherein the allophanate groups are derived from urethane groups that are the reaction product of starting material i) with 0.01 to 0.6 moles, per mole of starting material i), of a monoalcohol having a molecular weight of up to 2500. The present invention also relates to the use of these polyisocyanate mixtures, optionally in blocked form, as an isocyanate component in one- or two-component coating compositions.

摘要： A substantially solid free isocyanate prepolymer is made by reacting an isocyanate mixture which is made up of a toluene diisocyanate residue containing monomeric toluene diisocyanate and optionally, additional monomeric toluene diisocyanate in an amount such that the total NCO content is at least 37% with a polyether polyol having an ethylene oxide content of at least 30%. The polyether polyol has a molecular weight of from about 200 to about 6,000 and a functionality of from 2 to 6. The product prepolymers are particularly useful in the production of polyurethanes.

摘要： The present invention is directed to polyurethane moldings produced via the RIM process. These polyurethane moldings have excellent reactivity, demold properties (at a 30s demold), and good elongation and tear strength, and comprise the reaction product of an HDI prepolymer having an NCO content of 5 to 25%, a functionality of less than 2.3, and a monomer content of less than 10%, with an isocyanate-reactive component comprising b1) at least one relatively high molecular weight organic compound containing at least about two isocyanate-reactive hydroxyl groups; b2) at least one relatively low molecular weight organic compound selected from the group consisting of diols, aminoalcohols, and mixtures thereof; and b3) at least one relatively low molecular weight hydroxyl-based crosslinking compound containing no more than one aliphatic amine hydrogen atoms capable of reacting with isocyanate groups; in the presence of at least one catalyst.
