    • Processes are disclosed for production of purified products from a fluid mixtures of C8 aromatics by means of integration of perm-selective separations with purified product recovery operations. The perm-selective separations of the invention comprise of one or more devices using polymeric perm-selective membrane devices to separate a meta-xylene enriched stream from fluid mixtures of C8 aromatics thereby producing a fluid comprising the remaining aromatic compounds which advantageously includes para-xylene. Processes of the invention are particularly useful for recovery of very pure meta-xylene and para-xylene co-products from liquid mixtures even containing ethylbenzene as well as the three xylene isomers.

    • An electrical card connector (100) is mounted on a circuit board for mating with a memory card. The card connector includes an insulative housing (1) and a number of conductive contacts (2) fixed in the hosing. The housing defines a number of recesses (13) and cavities (14). Each recess has a fixing wall (131) in a lower portion thereof. The contacts are received in corresponding cavities and each includes a body portion (21), a resilient deflectable contact arm (22) with one end connecting with the body portion, a first fixing portion (23) extending upwardly through a corresponding recess from a first end of the body portion and bent to abut against the fixing wall, and a connection end (25) extending from a second end of the body portion adapted to electrically contact the circuit board. The contact arm has a contact portion projecting through the corresponding cavity for engaging with the memory card.

    • A SIM card connector (100) comprises a base (1), a cover (2) and a pivot (3) for pivotally connecting the cover with the base. The base includes an insulative housing (11) and a plurality of resilient conductive terminals received in the housing. The cover includes a top cover (21), a rear cover (23) on a rear edge of the top cover, opposite side plates on opposite sides of the top cover and a receptacle (20) for receiving a card (4) being defined by the top cover, the rear cover and the side plates. An elongate rib (241) is downwardly formed on the top cover and adjacent to the receptacle. The rib and the terminals cooperate together to secure reading of the inserted card and prevent a forward movement of the inserted card.

    • An optical coupling system having an integrated micro lens system for achieving high coupling efficiency between an optoelectronic element and an optical medium such as an optical fiber. The system may have a posts formed on the wafer incorporating the optoelectronic elements. The posts may have micro lenses formed on them. The posts with their respective micro lenses may be situated over respective optoelectronic elements. A window may be formed over the wafer components that may include micro lenses, posts and optoelectronic elements. The window may be part of the package that hermetically seals these components. An optical fiber or an array of fibers may be positioned proximate to the window for the receiving or transmitting of light. The optical coupling system may instead have an aspherical lens situated between the optoelectronic component and optical fiber. The fiber may be in contact with the near lens surface.
