    • An image sensing apparatus, which has a constant-voltage driven stepping motor, comprises a PWM waveform generation part (4) that generates pulse signals to be applied to switching devices (Q1 to Q4); and a PWM waveform determination section (3) that determines a PWM waveform to be generated by the PWM waveform generation section (4). The PWM waveform determination section (3) determines, in accordance with the determined rotation speed value and output torque value of the stepping motor, a duty ratio range that is a range extending from the minimum to the maximum of the duty ratio of the pulse signals. It is designed that the higher the rotational speed value is, the wider the duty ratio width is.

    • With a stepping motor driving device, a driving signal generating unit generates a first driving signal and a second driving signal which are to be supplied to an A-phase coil and a B-phase coil of a stepping motor, respectively. A first switching circuit includes multiple switches connected to the A-phase coil of the stepping motor, and controls the current that flows through the A-phase coil according to a first driving signal generated by the driving signal generating unit. A second switching circuit includes multiple switches connected to the B-phase coil of the stepping motor, and controls the current that flows through the B-phase coil according to a second driving signal generated by the driving signal generating unit. The driving signal generating unit has a configuration which provides a function of adjusting the phase difference between the first driving signal and the second driving signal.

    • An air fuel ratio detecting device which is improved in accuracy as compared to similar prior art devices comprises a sensor cell for developing an electrical signal in response to the difference between the concentration of oxygen within an exhaust gas and the concentration of oxygen within a reference gas, a controlling means for developing an electrical control signal having a polarity determined from the output of the sensor cell, a pump cell for moving oxygen ions in response to the electrical control signal received from the controlling means, a control current detecting means for detecting control current flow between the controlling means and the pump cell, an air fuel ratio detecting means for detecting an air fuel ratio from the control current flow, a stoichiometric air fuel ratio detecting means for detecting the direction of the control current flow so as to determine the stoichiometric air fuel ratio, a storage means for storing therein a linear air fuel ratio value which is determined from a predetermined functional relationship with respect to the magnitude of the control current flow, a linear air fuel ratio detecting means for detecting the magnitude of the control current flow detected by the control current detecting means so as to compare the same with the stored linear air fuel ratio value derived from the storage means, and a correcting means for correcting the predetermined functional relationship stored within the storage means when a stoichiometric air fuel ratio signal is developed from the stoichiometric air fuel ratio detecting means.
