摘要： A power plant system can comprise a first gas turbine having a first efficiency to produce a first exhaust flow, a first electrical generator driven by the first gas turbine, a first heat recovery steam generator to receive the first exhaust flow and generate a first steam flow, a second gas turbine having a second efficiency less than the first efficiency to produce a second exhaust flow, a second electrical generator driven by the second gas turbine, and an exhaust gas conditioning device to reduce temperature of the second exhaust flow, a steam turbine driving a steam electrical generator to receive the first steam flow. The second gas turbine can be selectively operated to generate electricity with the second electrical generator under peak loading conditions when a sum of output from the steam electrical generator and the first electrical generator are less than an electrical demand from a grid.

摘要： Provided is a blade for an axial flow turbomachine, including: a blade profile section; an endwall having a flow path wall surface disposed at least on a hub side of the blade profile section and adapted to demarcate a part of an annular flow path of a working fluid; and a fillet disposed at the boundary between the blade profile section and the flow path wall surface. The fillet is externally shaped so as to have an arc-shaped curved surface having a radius of R as viewed in a cross-section orthogonal to the flow path wall surface and the blade surface of the blade profile section. A narrow portion existing on the flow path wall surface is configured such that the distance d between the outer edge of a projection of the blade profile section onto the flow path wall surface and the outer edge of the flow path wall surface is smaller than the maximum value of the radius R of the fillet. The upper end of the fillet is positioned lower in the narrow portion than that in a region other than the narrow portion, and the lower end of the arc-shaped curved surface coincides with the flow path wall surface along the entire circumference of the blade profile section.

摘要： A stator blade heating system is to heat a hollow stator blade of a steam turbine, and includes: an electromagnetic coil disposed within a hollow portion of the stator blade; and a heating device electrically connected to the electromagnetic coil and capable of supplying an alternating current to the electromagnetic coil. A core wound with the electromagnetic coil is disposed within the hollow portion of the stator blade. The stator blade heating system further includes a regulator that regulates output of the alternating current of the heating device, and a temperature sensor that detects temperature of the stator blade. The regulator regulates the output of the heating device on the basis of the temperature detected by the temperature sensor.

摘要： A stationary blade includes a main unit having a hollow blade structure formed from a metal plate by plastic forming. The stationary blade includes a blade tail section. In a blade tail upper portion, the metal plate has a concave-shaped recess and a rib formed on an inner surface side thereof, and the metal plate further has slits formed by slitting on a blade pressure side thereof, so that droplets affixed on a blade surface can be guided into an inside of the hollow blade when the blade tail section is joined to the hollow blade main unit. The recess in the metal plate is covered so as to be lidded by a suction-side protrusion of a suction-side metal plate from a blade suction side to thereby form a hollow blade tail section. The metal plates are welded together to the main unit.
