Length L2 of the first cutting blade is within a range of 3 to 20 times length L1 of the second cutting blade (2), and a front end (3) of the second cutting blade (2) is positioned deviating from the material center.

    • A method of packaging medical supplies includes overlapping a front film onto a back film, at least one of the front and back film being transparent and bacteria impermeable and does not transmit molecules as large as or larger than O2, extending a material that is gas permeable and bacteria impermeable along an opening side of at least one of the front and back film, and sealing the periphery of the front and back films except for the opening to form a packaging bag; inserting medical supplies in the packaging bag and then sealing the bag; sterilizing an interior of the packaging bag with EO gas injected through the material that is gas permeable and bacteria impermeable, removing the gas after sterilization and drying; and sealing the packaging bag so that the material that is gas permeable and bacteria impermeable does not communicate with the inside of the packaging bag.

    • A bending method and a bending apparatus are provided for bending a medical suturing needle into different curved shapes by using one bending roller. The bending apparatus comprises a reciprocally rotatable bending roller, and a belt having such a flexibility as can be wound on the outer circumference of the bending roller. The bending method curves a medical suturing needle by sandwiching and constricting a material for the medical suturing needle between the bending roller and the belt and by rotating the bending roller reciprocally in the winding direction and in the rewinding direction. In the bending method, the curved shape of the material is changed by changing the winding angle of the belt to be wound on the outer circumference of the bending top thereby to change the area for constricting the material.

    • Manufacturing a working portion and a joined portion through the same processing method provides a dental root canal treatment instrument allowing a simplified manufacturing process. A metal, rod-like main frame 11 includes a working portion 11a having a tapered point to be inserted in a root canal during use, and a joined portion 11b buried within a handle 12, continuing to the end on the wide side of the working portion. The working portion and the joined portion are formed through the same processing method. Injection of a synthetic resin to cover the joined portion 11b prepares the handle 12, thereby forming a dental root canal treatment instrument 10. The joined portion has at least one concave portion or convex portion in order to reinforce the joint with the handle.
