摘要： An exhaust-gas treatment unit includes a housing with a first end and an oppositely disposed second end, a tube extending from the first end to the second end and serving as an inflow region for an exhaust gas, a deflecting region in the vicinity of the second end for the exhaust gas, and a return flow region extending between the tube and the housing. In the deflecting region, the exhaust gas is mixed and transferred into the return flow region. A method for mixing an exhaust gas in an exhaust-gas treatment unit and a vehicle having the exhaust-gas treatment unit and carrying out the method, are also provided.

The reduction catalytic converter is disposed in the first lateral chamber, the oxidation catalytic converter is disposed in an outer annular space of the second lateral chamber and the reducing agent injection device is oriented toward an inner channel of the outer annular space of the second lateral chamber. A flow path for the exhaust gas from at least one exhaust gas inlet toward at least one exhaust gas outlet is provided through the oxidation catalytic converter, the reducing agent injection device and the reduction catalytic converter.

The reducing agent is treated if the feed state does not correspond to a stored state. The reducing agent feed to the exhaust system takes place last. The steps are repeated multiple times. This permits reducing agent to be fed into an exhaust system in a state suitable for the exhaust temperature, so that complete conversion of reducing agent takes place and selectively catalytic reduction is also ensured. This reduces the quantity of electrical energy necessary for converting reducing agent. A motor vehicle having the system is also provided.
