摘要： A portable multi-purpose outdoor fire container and hot water storage system comprising a first container of a cylindrical configuration with an open bottom surface and an open top surface with a cylindrical side wall therebetween is disclosed. The container has a grate supported by the opened top surface with the bottom surface capable of supporting firewood thereon. The container also has an air vent with handles in the side wall selectively openable in the sidewall at an intermediate extent thereof. A second hot water storage container in a box-like configuration is provided with rectangular sidewalls, a closed bottom and an open top with a lid positionable to close the open top. The hot water storage container is water impermeable for the storage of hot water therein. A water flow system comprises a first input pipe and a second output pipe, each pipe having one end coupled to a common wall of the hot water storage container for the movement of water between the pipes and the container, the pipes including a heat exchanger pipe within the lower region of the first container above the vent with brackets for holding the heat exchanger pipe in position for moving water from the input pipe to the output pipe by passage around the internal periphery of the first container.

摘要： A food cooker/rethermalizer especially suited for cooking or for reheating of prepared, packaged meat and sauce entree items, and optionally for cooking vegetables. The apparatus includes a multiple of food item receiving locations defined by a locator rack, and fluid ejecting tubes beneath the locations to eject fluid such as air therefrom, which rises over the package surfaces for bath mixing and efficient and uniform heat transfer. The tubes include a pair of upwardly sloped conduits oriented in opposite directions and which eject fluid at the upper ends of the tubes, on opposite sides of the bath, to cause circulation of the heated liquid bath. The bath is heated by resistance coils embedded in rubber bonded to the outside of the vessel. The bath level is controlled by a dual temperature sensor device, one sensor above the other, to detect a predetermined temperature differential and activate a water supply valve to inject only small quantities of water. The heating chamber is separated from the electronics control chamber by a space which has a thermally generated convection cooling action. The defined locations of the locator rack have a geometric arrangement matching the geometric arrangement of controls on a control panel.If the unit is used to cook pasta, the rising fluid not only assists with bath mixing and cooking action, but also keeps the pasta from sticking together, while the sloped ejection tubes of the basket function to eject starch floating on the bath out of the vessel.

Potting compound (38) disposed intermediate of the thermostatic switch (18) and the fluid to be heated is provided as a thermal barrier for restricting the heat flow from the fluid to the thermostatic switch (18). An elongated slot, recess, opening, or passageway (82) disposed in the molded case (12 or 12A) intermediate of the heating element (14) and the thermostatic switch (18), is provided as a barrier for reducing the rate of heat transferred to the thermostatic switch (18) from the heating element (14). In addition, the elongated slot, recess, opening, of passageway (82) provides means for transmitting heat to the fluid causing a cooling effect on the thermostatic switch (18).

摘要： A portable electric water heater for supplying a continuous flow of hot water for outdoor home use includes an impact resistant waterproof housing having a coiled water conducting cooper tube disposed therein and wrapped with an electrical resistance heating element. A manually operated rheostat adjusts the heating current received through a power cord from a standard 110 Volt current source. The tube has a cold water inlet and a hot water outlet adapted to fit standard garden hoses and faucets. Wheels and legs support the housing and a handle facilitates movement thereof. Alternate smaller versions employ skid runners or caster wheels for portability and may have conducting tube sections positioned in a horizontal plane adjacent a respective heating element.Each embodiment utilizes an on/off toggle switch and a flow responsive pressure switch in series with the rheostat. A pop-off valve is also provided. The rheostat is arranged in circuit to permit preheating of the water by a minimum current flow when the flow switch is open due to lack of water flow through the tube.
