摘要： A marking implement has a body that has a marking device on one side of the body. The marking device is designed for leaving a mark on a surface. On a distal second side of the body is a strap or straps for removably affixing the body to an appendage/digit of a user (e.g., a single finger or fingers) so the marking implement does not require pressure from another appendage of the user to work. Movement of the marking device across a surface deposits a mark on the surface such as a pen line pencil line, highlighter line, strip of pain, ink line.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to a smart closure unit for a writing apparatus. The closure unit comprises a diaphragm film, a camera and a control unit. The diaphragm film comes in contact with writing nib of the writing apparatus when the writing apparatus is closed by the closure unit. The camera captures an image of the diaphragm film when the writing nib of the writing apparatus is in contact with the diaphragm film. The control unit compares the captured image received from the camera with one or more predefined images, wherein each of the predefined images is associated with an ink intensity value. The ink intensity value indicates percentage of ink present in the writing apparatus. The control unit further detects the ink intensity value corresponding to the matched predefined image. Furthermore, a user interface in the closure unit displays one or more information related to the writing apparatus.

摘要： A marker storage accessory includes a main body having marker-engaging structure and writing surface engaging structure. The main body may also include cap-engaging structure or, alternatively, blocking structure. The marker-engaging structure includes a plurality of circumferentially positioned teeth adapted to be conformingly inserted into the complementarily shaped channels defined by the ribs located on the non-writing end of a writing instrument such as a dry-erase marker. The cap-engaging structure can include ribs creating a geometry adapted to conformingly receive the protruding end of a cap for the writing instrument. The blocking structure can be a protrusion adapted to prevent attachment of the marker storage accessory on the nub-end of the writing instrument while permitting attachment of a marker cap. When the marker storage accessory is attached to the writing surface, the marker self-positions to a generally nub-down orientation.
