In one embodiment, the position pointer includes a tubular housing having an opening portion, a plurality of refill bodies, a refill body selection mechanism section that selectively causes at least a tip of one of the plurality of refill bodies to project from the opening portion, a magnetic material core, and a coil wound around the magnetic material core. The refill bodies not selected by the refill body selection mechanism section are located away from a through hole of the magnetic material core.

The rear section and the front section are rotatably connected to each other. A plurality of marking tips are disposed in the front section. One of the marking tips is a pencil lead marking tip. The marking tips are alternately selectable for extension through the writing point opening. An eraser holder is movably disposed in the rear section. An eraser is mounted in the eraser holder. The eraser holder is selectable for extension through the eraser opening. A means for simultaneously propelling the pencil lead marking tip through the writing point opening and the eraser through the eraser opening upon rotation of the front section relative to the rear section is housed in the multi-function writing instrument.

摘要： A pen comprises a plurality of cartridges matingly cascaded together along a bore thereof, the stick of each cartridge having a color different that of others, two inner opposite protrusions adjacent a bottom end of the pen, the protrusions being adapted to fasten the lowest cartridge, and two opposite recesses at the bottom end of the pen; and a releasable pen. Removing the lowest cartridge and inserting the cartridge into a top end of the pen will push the lowest cartridge out of the pen. Alternatively, engaging the lowest cartridge with another cartridge prior to pushing upwardly will remove the topmost cartridge from the pen. The top end of the topmost cartridge is either projected from the top end of the pen or flush therewith. Also, the hand of a user is prevented from being contaminated by the stick while removing the same.

摘要： In a multi-tip writing instrument a clip, a push button or equivalent mechanism for projecting a writing tip, is provided with a hinged plate or swinging door for engaging the selected writing tip. The selector responds to gravity or inertial forces. Any suitable mechanism can keep the writing tip projected. Upon retraction, the push button or clip is retracted further than the writing tip to free the swinging door from engagement with the writing tips so that any new selection can be made by the hinged selector swinging to the desired writing point.
