    • A slurry recovery system for a wet cutting saw which includes a watering section, a containment section, a gas-liquid separator section and a discharge section. The watering section contains a pressure gauge, shut-off valve and flowmeter to control the flow of liquid onto the saw blade. The containment section includes a blade cover and bellows which surround the saw blade and form a sawing chamber. A drag bar, which is attached to the lower surface of the bellow, skids along the cutting surface and removes the slurry therefrom. The drag bar includes inner and outer flexible walls that create a vacuum chamber around the saw. The slurry is vacuumed out of the vacuum chamber and conveyed to a gas-liquid separator tank, wherein the slurry and air are separated. The slurry passes to a diaphragm pump and the air passes to a discharge blower. The separator tank includes a blower protector which contains a float and seals. When the slurry level rises above a desired level, the float prevents slurry from passing through an air outlet port. The slurry is drawn from the separator tank, via a diaphragm pump and a surge tank, and is stored in a holding tank for disposal.

    • A tile saw having a liquid reservoir and a rotary saw blade protruding through a saw table, the rotary blade picking up liquid from said liquid reservoir as it rotates, the liquid being used to cool the rotary blade as it cuts, comprising a means for maintaining the circulation of liquid from the liquid reservoir to the rotary blade as it cuts and back to the reservoir with no significant splashing or loss of liquid, and means for cutting past the rotary blade without interfering with the maintained circulation of liquid which cools the rotary blade. The rotary blade protrudes through a thin slit in the saw table so that a tile is provided with support as it is cut, whereby precision cuts can be made to the tile.

    • This invention relates to an improved hub for diamond-edged concrete saws and, more particularly, to a hub or mandrel of the so-called "flush" type which mounts the saw blade such that the latter can make a cut while lying flush against a planar surface like, for example, a floor or wall.     • A concrete cutting or milling apparatus has a milling head carrying a power driven circular saw blade or milling cutter movable along a guide rail having a plurality of guide rail sections that may be coupled to each other in the longitudinal direction. The guide rail sections are supported by a foot structure that can be screwed to a concrete member, such as a wall or floor, to be cut. The foot structure is releasably secured to the guide rails however in a torsion stiff manner. Further, the foot structure is provided with adjustment screws for the proper axial alignment of the guide rail sections relative to each other to provide for a correction of the rail position and for compensating an uneveness in the surface of the concrete member to be cut. The structure is lightweight and one operator can secure the rail sections to a concrete surface. The rail sections form a closed cross-sectional tubular shape which may be round or substantially box shaped.
