    • A power conditioner for circuit breaker panel and method of use. The apparatus comprises an electric motor electrically connected to distribution power lines into the breaker panel. The electric motor drives an electric generator. Electric power from the electric generator is fed into sector circuit breaker bus bars in the circuit breaker panel, which in turn power sector circuit breakers mounted to the sector circuit breaker bus bars. The circuit breaker panel may incorporate a main breaker between the distribution power lines and the sector circuit breaker bus bars. The apparatus may include a transmission between the motor and the generator. The method steps include using electric power from the distribution power line to run the electric motor, using the electric motor to drive the generator, and feeding power from the generator to the sector circuit breaker bus bars.

    • According to the present invention, a control apparatus for an electric generator includes a power generation cost determiner determining a power generation cost of the generator, a threshold determiner determining a threshold of power generation cost as a function of a state of charge of an electric energy storage device, a comparator comparing the power generation cost of the generator with the threshold, and a controller. When the power generation cost of the generator is lower than the threshold, the controller controls the generator to generate an increased amount of electric power, so as to both charge the electric energy storage device and feed an electrical load. Otherwise, when the power generation cost of the generator is higher than the threshold, the controller controls the generator to generate a decreased amount of electric power, so as to allow the electric energy storage device to discharge to feed the electrical load.

    • A mass magnifier is created by combining the properties of permanent magnets or electromagnets with the property of mu-metal to create a novel energy storage device. In a system mu-metal is placed in the magnetic field created by a magnet or electromagnetic in a manner to provide an energy storage device, similar to a fly wheel. The system includes a set of magnets arranged in a circle around a cylinder in a stationary position, effectively forming a stator. Another set of opposing magnets are arranged to form a rotor. When the rotor is rotated, mu-metal material is inserted between the rotor and stator magnets in a manner so that the rotor will remain in motion in a desired rotation direction, even if an opposing force is applied to the rotor axle. The system, thus, forms an energy storage device similar to a fly wheel. The system can also provide energy storage for conventional machines or for smaller micro-technology or nano-technology type devices.
