摘要： Provided is a member state evaluation method that makes more highly accurate instantaneous understanding of various states of a member to be tested possible without reliance on the shape of the member, the testing environment, or the skill level of the tester. The member state evaluation method is provided with: a state evaluation database construction step for constructing a state evaluation database by determining a plurality of vibration points and measurement points for each analysis model, carrying out vibration at the vibration points, measuring the acoustic signal generated by the vibration at the measurement points, carrying out frequency analysis, and thereby obtaining, as state evaluation data, frequency distribution data acquired for each vibration point and each measurement point that includes the natural frequencies for each of a plurality of modes; an actual measurement state evaluation data acquisition step for acquiring, as actual measurement state evaluation data, frequency distribution data for the member to be tested that includes the natural frequencies of each of the plurality of modes; and a state evaluation step for evaluating the member to be tested by comparing the acquired actual measurement state evaluation data and all the state evaluation data of the state evaluation database.

摘要： A method is provided of inspecting a nested multi-layer structure including a first and second electrically conductive layer and a third layer disposed behind the second conductive layer. The method includes deploying a sensor device including an electromagnetic acoustic transducer to a borehole location proximate to the structure, generating a drive signal including a plurality of frequencies, applying an electrical current signal to the sensor device based on the drive signal and inducing currents in the first conductive layer that induce currents generating acoustic signals having the plurality of frequencies, detecting a first set of resonant frequencies based on received electromagnetic signals, detecting a second set of resonant frequencies based on received acoustic signals, estimating a property of the first and/or the second conductive layer based on the first set of resonant frequencies, and estimating a property of the third layer based on the second set of resonant frequencies.

摘要： In a method of inspecting a structure, a first ultrasonic signal generated from a target structure by a first laser beam is received. The first ultrasonic signal is generated by providing the first laser beam generated from a first excitation unit to the target structure. A second ultrasonic signal generated from the target structure by a second laser beam different from the first laser beam is received. The second ultrasonic signal is generated by providing the second laser beam generated from a second excitation unit to the target structure. A third ultrasonic signal generated from the target structure by the first and second laser beams is received. The third ultrasonic signal is generated by simultaneously providing the first and second laser beams to the target structure. It is determined whether the target structure is damaged based on first, second and third ultrasonic frequency spectra that are obtained by converting the first, second and third ultrasonic signals, respectively.

摘要： A method for performing a resonance test on a multicomponent component wherein fast and simple classification of the state of the component is ensured by carrying out the resonance test in an automated manner on blade assemblies, in which frequency images of new and used components are compared with each other. For performing a resonance test by direct mechanical excitation of a multicomponent component in the initial state, relevant acoustic parameters of the airborne sound are determined or are numerically computed and deposited in a database. The method includes performing an excitation of a component after use in order to produce structure-borne vibrations in the component and the airborne sound resulting therefrom, measuring the airborne sound by a spaced-apart microphone, determining the relevant acoustic parameters, wherein this is compared with the initial state, and deviations are detected.

摘要： An inspection apparatus detects one or more characteristics of a material sample and includes a transmitter to transmit an initial signal to the material sample, and a receiver to receive a detected signal from the material sample associated with the initial signal. The detected signal has at least a first harmonic signal component and a second harmonic signal component. Data processing circuitry determines a resonant frequency of the first harmonic signal component and an amplitude of the first harmonic signal component at the resonant frequency, and filters the detected signal using a first filter signal having a frequency corresponding to the first harmonic signal component and a second filter signal having a frequency corresponding to the second harmonic signal component. A frequency analysis is performed in the frequency domain on the filtered first and second signals to determine corresponding first and second amplitudes. The first and second amplitudes may be compensated for nonlinearity. One or more nonlinear parameters are determined based on the first and second amplitudes. A user interface communicates one or more characteristics of the material sample based on the first and second compensated amplitudes.

More specifically, this disclosure provides the design and implementation of a piecewise-linear resonator realized via diode- and integrated circuit-based feedback electronics and a quartz crystal resonator. The proposed system is fabricated and characterized, and the creation and selective placement of the bifurcation points of the overall electromechanical system is demonstrated by tuning the circuit gains. The demonstrated circuit operates around at least 1 MHz.
