    • Means for producing colored light includes a bulb sleeve mounted on a bulb holder for a lantern having a housing, battery and electrical means to energize a bulb in the bulb holder for producing a light wherein the bulb holder is removably mounted in sealed relation in an elongated guide passage through a reflector or a reflector-lens assembly. The guide passage and the bulb holder have cooperating portions to adjustably position the light producing bulb and the bulb sleeve along the axis of the reflector relative to the focal point thereof. The bulb holder is preferably molded of an non-conductor material and in hingedly connected halves that have cavities for electrical terminals and which may be quickly and easily assembled and closed for insertion into said passage or removed for change of bulbs. The bulb sleeve is preferably translucent and of a selected color and mounted on the bulb holder and surrounding all or a portion of the bulb mounted therein whereby at least one portion of light produced by the bulb and reflector is of the selected color and the remaining portion is of white light or other color or colors as determined by position and color of portions of the bulb sleeve.

    • The invention described hereinafter relates to an electric handtype light especially adapted for underwater use. The new lamp is unique in several respects, especially in that the light source is adapted to be slidably positioned relative to its co-operating reflector; and, it is also easily slidably removable from its reflector association for independent use. A special light source is employed which also forms a part of the invention. The light source is of the quartz-iodide type and by reason of particular mounting features, it is rendered especially adapted for underwater use, particularly as regards its light-giving life.

    • The present invention relates to a kind of device of lamp with fan, in particular, an electronic control multi-function lamp with fan for camping purposes, comprising a head lamp, a fan head, a flexible arm set, a handle and a base, said head lamp and said fan head being detachable so that when one of them is fitted said device can be used as a lamp or a fan, respectively; also comprising a three-way connector with which both the head lamp and the fan head can be used simultaneously.     • An illumination device for a household remote control comprising a resiliently flexible C-shaped support having a first end that engages the top surface of the remote control and a second end that engages the bottom surface of the remote control. A light source is supported within the C-shaped support for lighting the top surface of the remote control and is powered by a solar power cell. If the solar power cell fails, a battery provides back-up power to the light source.     • An improved warning light blinker includes an upper housing member including an integral pedestal extending from an upper surface thereof, the upper housing member being transparent, the upper housing member also including an opening in a lower portion thereof. A lower housing member mates within the upper housing member through the opening. Battery captivating members for captivating a battery so as to substantially eliminate free air from contacting a substantial portion of a battery's outer surface area is provided. A flasher circuit periodically supplies electrical energy to a light bulb. A light dispersing lens is coupled to the pedestal. In the preferred apparatus one or more solar rechargeable batteries are situated within the battery captivating members. The pedestal includes a tapered channel which narrows close to an upper end thereof and a light bulb socket engages in an interference fit near the upper end. The upper housing member includes an upper surface and the upper surface is sloped downward to allow rapid drainage of rain water to enhance the solar efficiency of the solar rechargeable batteries.

    • An underwater light assembly for internal illumination of swimming pools and the like which operates on batteries and does not require any externally-provided current. A partitioned compartment is detachably engaged within and against a transparent dome. The compartment houses weights to keep the assembly submerged in a pool of water. The compartment also houses the batteries and a power assembly for providing current to a lamp socket. The lamp socket is suspended within the compartment. A detachable seal is provided to seal the compartment within and against the transparent dome. A metal contact plate is provided on the detachable seal such that, when the seal is inserted and seals the compartment within and against the transparent dome, an electrical connection is completed and the power assembly supplies current to the lamp socket. The underwater light assembly may be constructed for either incandescent or fluorescent lamps, rests on the bottom of the pool of water and may be adapted for mounting on the side wall enclosing the pool of water.
