摘要： A decorative glass panel, and a method of production thereof, is provided for a door or window, and comprises a flat glass panel having an outer surface, an inner surface, and a thickness. A prescribed pattern is formed in at least the outer surface of the flat glass panel, the prescribed pattern including at least one substantially V-shaped groove. Each groove so formed has a width of between 9.0 mm and 19.5 mm and a depth of between 0.5 mm and 1.5 mm. An air-curable resin is applied within each substantially V-shaped groove forming the prescribed pattern.

Portions of the opaque coating are removed to reveal through the transparent substrate, underlying transparent-ink patterns. The partially scratched product “drawing” produces an excellent visual appearance simulative of stained glass when held up to light. The finished product can be affixed to a window for continued enjoyment.

摘要： The present invention concerns a method and system for applying decorative tape to a glass sheet. The disclosed system and method allow tape segments that are shorter than a distance between a cutter and a glass engagement position to be applied by an application head to the glass sheet. The system includes the application head, a tape supply, a drive roller, a cutter, and a controller. The application head applies tape segments cut from the tape supply to the glass pane. The drive roller advances the tape dispensed by the application head. The cutter cuts end portions of each tape segment. The controller is programmed to sort moves of the application head, tape supply, drive roller, and cutter to allow tape segments that are shorter than a distance between the cutter and the glass engagement position to be applied to the glass sheet.

摘要： A decorative glass ornament may be formed from glass material and then caused to crack to produce an effect similar to that exhibited by naturally-occurring quartz: the glass is cracked or veined in random patterns. Glass material is heated and molded into a desired shape, and then, prior to substantial cooling, is dipped in a liquid medium having a lower temperature, causing cracks to form. Alternatively, a pre-shaped glass crystal may be caused to crack to produce a decorative ornament displaying similar effects. Epoxy paint may be applied to the ornaments after they have cracked, to produce additional visual effects.
