    • The present invention relates to a wireless terminal, an information processing method and a recording medium. The wireless terminal according to the present invention comprises a short-range communication section for connecting a short-range communication channel with a communication apparatus included in a vehicle; a checking section for checking whether the wireless terminal is positioned in the vehicle, based on connection information of the short-range communication channel through the short-range communication section; a first converting section for converting text information received through one of N applications for transceiving text information into speech information, the applications being included in the wireless terminal, in the case that the wireless terminal is positioned in the vehicle, according to a result of the checking by the checking section; a processing section for outputting the converted speech information through a speaker of the wireless terminal; an input section for receiving speech information from a user of the wireless terminal; and a second converting section for converting the received speech information into text information. The processing section transmits the converted text information through the application for transceiving text information.

    • Personalized voice survey delivery systems and methods in which a computer identifies a person to be surveyed, including his or her phone number or Internet login to a specific website, or email address, together with specific identifiers for the person, such as the person's name. The person's phone number is dialed and when the call is answered, the computer concatenates the files having the digitized identifiers such as the person's name, with the file that is the standard message to be delivered as the initial survey content. Computer-generated personalized voice messages are created by concatenating data files of audio that were pre-recorded in the voice of an individual whose live voice is to be simulated during the delivery of the voice survey. The audio signal that is produced from the concatenated data files, one of which is a pre-recorded voice phrase corresponding to the identifier, another of which is a standard message, the resultant audio message sent to the called number sounds as if the calling party is the political office holder, celebrity, or candidate, addressing the called party directly, as if during a live telephone survey by the political office holder, celebrity, or candidate.     • An automated telephone hold device including a housing with a visual indication mechanism, audible indication mechanism, and push button switch positioned on a top face thereof. Further included is a voice playback mechanism, decoder, phone interface, and sequential logic located within the housing. In use, the sequential logic allows a user on hold to depress the push button switch which, in turn, actuates the visual indication mechanism. At this point in time, the phone interface allows communication between the voice playback mechanism and the phone of the second party for prompting the second party to press a designated key on the phone thereof. Once the second party presses the designated key, the sequential logic mechanism is adapted to actuate the audible indication mechanism. Also, upon the user lifting the handset thereof from an inoperative orientation, the sequential logic mechanism prompts the phone interface to revert to a normal mode of operation.
