摘要： A receiver circuit includes a first amplifier circuit to differentially amplify differential input signals by a linear operation, a second amplifier circuit configured to differentially amplify output differential signals of the first amplifier circuit by a limiting operation, a feedback circuit, first and second resistors coupled between the feedback circuit and outputs of the first amplifier circuit, and third and fourth resistors coupled between the feedback circuit and outputs of the second amplifier circuit. The feedback circuit amplifies a positive-phase signal that is output from a positive-phase output node thereof coupled to the first and third resistors, and a negative-phase signal that is output from a negative-phase output node thereof coupled to the second and fourth resistors, and feeds back a feedback signal after amplification to the first amplifier circuit.

摘要： Provided herein are apparatus and methods for low distortion composite amplifiers with high load current. In certain configurations, a composite amplifier can be a closed loop system which includes two or more amplifiers such that one or more amplifiers can provide an output current to a load while one or more amplifiers can control an output voltage to be proportional to an input voltage. The loop gain can be proportional to the product of the individual amplifier gains and to a noise gain network function. In this way the composite amplifier can maintain low distortion for heavier loads and for load currents which exceed the normal load current operation of a single amplifier.

摘要： A linearization circuit improves the linearity of a power amplifier based on an envelope of an input RF signal. The linearization circuit comprises an RF signal generation circuit, a replica circuit, and an adaptive amplifier. The RF signal generation circuit generates the RF signal from a phase and an amplitude of an input digital signal. The replica circuit extracts the envelope from the RF signal and generates a sensing voltage based on the extracted envelope. The adaptive amplifier generates an adaptive bias voltage for the power amplifier based on the sensing voltage, and applies the adaptive bias voltage to the power amplifier and to the replica circuit to improve the linearity of the power amplifier by regulating the power amplifier and the replica circuit according to the envelope.

摘要： A low-noise amplifier (LNA) circuit utilizes the capacitive cross coupling technique with two pairs of NMOS transistors in conjunction with two cross coupled PMOS transistors to obtain a reduced noise figure. By using the cross coupling technique on the PMOS input transistor, the LNA circuit is able to reduce the noise figure below 2 dB without the use of an inductor. This LNA circuit may be used to amplify a signal in the WLAN band or the Bluetooth band, either independently or simultaneously.
