摘要： An electrical connector assembly for mechanically and electrically connecting first and second cables each including an elongate electrical conductor covered by an insulation layer includes a housing configured to receive the cables, an electrically conductive bus member in the housing, an electrically conductive first and second blade members in the housing each having an inner end, an outer end and an insulation piercing feature on the outer end. The inner ends are coupled to the bus member and the insulation piercing features each include at least one tooth configured to pierce through the insulation covers of the cables and electrically engage the cable conductor. The bus member provides electrical continuity between the first and second blade members and thereby the conductors of the first and second cables when the conductors are engaged by the insulation piercing feature of the first and second blade members.

Flexible cable ends are molded onto the plug housing and socket housing. The plug housing and socket housing are each manufactured by casting plastic onto a base body with the contact inserts and flexible cable ends connected thereto inserted, thus forming a solid one-piece plug and a solid one-piece socket. 摘要： A circuit protection assembly (CPA) is disposed between a source of power and a circuit to be protected. The CPA comprises a mounting block having a bore extending therethrough and a recess cavity on a first surface of the mounting block. A post having a first end is disposed within the recess cavity and a body portion extends through the bore. The body portion configured to receive a terminal and the second end configured to receive a securing mechanism. A fuse having a centrally disposed aperture is configured to receive the body portion of the post and to receive the terminal for connection to a circuit to be protected. An insulator disposed on the terminal and disposed beneath the securing mechanism. The insulator configured to isolate the post from the terminal and the fuse while allowing the securing mechanism to apply an amount of torque.

摘要： A circuit protection assembly (CPA) is disposed between a source of power and a circuit to be protected. 摘要： The present invention provides a shielded connector that can reduce the entire size thereof while preventing an increase in the number of components. A shielding shell includes a shell body provided to an outer side of a housing, and a thermally conductive holding member that supports an insulating container portion of a fuse, so the heat generated by the fuse is dissipated to outside, thereby reducing the space between the housing and the fuse and reducing the entire size of the shielded connector. Also, the shielding shell functions as both a heat dissipation member and a magnetic shield, thus, an increase in the number of components can be prevented.
