摘要： Various embodiments of kiosks for purchasing mobile phones and other mobile electronic devices from users are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the kiosks include an apparatus to turn a mobile phone over on an inspection surface. This apparatus can enable the kiosk to visually inspect both the front and back sides of the mobile device on the inspection surface with an inspection system (e.g., imaging devices, lighting devices, etc.) positioned above the inspection surface, and can eliminate the need to position a second inspection system below a transparent inspection surface to visually inspect, e.g., the back side of the mobile device through the transparent inspection surface. In some embodiments, the kiosk also includes a wireless mobile phone charging device that can be used for, e.g., phone charging and identification.

摘要： In a medication dispensing system, pills of different medications are stored in different chambers of a pill bottle. An assembly of a non-moving disc having holes corresponding to each chamber, a rotatable disc having a hole for dispensing pills therethrough, and a motor, dispenses the pills according to a prescribed schedule. The motor controls the rotations of the rotatable disc according to a user-specified schedule.

Confirmation of an understanding of the safety information by the end user after showing the end user the altered clip of the multimedia package prompts the dispensing of the medical drug prescription to the end user.

摘要： The vandal proof knob is designed to protect self-serve car wash station control boxes from costly damage from acts of vandalism or robbery by using a single piece construction of a knob with an elongated shaft that mates with the adjustment shaft of a standard rotary switch. The elongated shaft combined with a separate durable metal bracket mounted inside the control box allows for the rotary switch to be recessed approximately three inches inside the control box offering additional protection against vandalism. The bracket is secured to the control box using at least two fasteners and the rotary switch is also attached to the distal end of the bracket using at least two fasteners. Finally the front face of the knob has position indicating markings made as part of the single piece construction which also provides additional protection against vandalism.

摘要： The present invention provides a solution to the needs described above through a system and method for a wireless universal mobile product interface (WUMPI). Generally, products/objects have their own interface, or man-machine-interface (MMI). Technically, the wireless universal mobile product interface of the present invention (WUMPI) innovates this space by replacing the product's MMI by implementing reverse software control via wireless transmission channel and or Bluetooth wireless technologies to control the mobile device's screen—replacing the local software component on the mobile device which controls what is shown on the screen in terms of a man-machine interface (MMI). This enables a product/object within the area of the mobile device to take over control via the wireless transmission channel or other wireless capability of the mobile device and to “extend” the product interface to the mobile device that came within its control range, or the product/object's personal area network (PAN).
