摘要： In connection with a food processor for any type of food preparation operations, such as mixing, stirring, kneading, or the like, with or without additional appliances that can be attached to the basic body of the food processor, and with an associated weighing system and a microprocessor which at least indicates the weighing results, it is proposed that for determining the weight of the ingredients to be processed a no-friction and no-contact leaf spring support is to be provided for decoupling an outer stationary housing from a decoupling carrier or frame in such a way that all the other components of the food processor are supported by the decoupling carrier and any variations of the weight of the latter can be recorded with high precision by weight sensors, preferably in the form of resistance strain gauges, mounted on the leaf springs.

摘要： The invention detects the weight of an object by detecting the change in electrostatic capacity due to a change in the distance between electrodes caused by deflection of flat plates, by using a pressure sensitive sensor having flat plates composed of two elastic insulators stuck together across a proper gap and extending parallel to one another, with electrodes provided at the confronting sides of the flat plates, and by transferring the load of the object to be measured to the sensor through a load support. The gap between the electrodes of this pressure sensitive sensor is enclosed, and a hole is provided to allow air to pass into and out of the gap. Furthermore, the surface of the pressure sensitive sensor is coated with a water-repellent substance to eliminate current loss due to dust or dew deposited on the surface of the electrodes. As a result, the weight may be measured accurately without being effected by temperature changes or humidity.

Means are provided for pivotally suspending the scale at a point of pivotal attachment to the beam, and a weight slidably supported on the beam is slidably adjusted thereon until the scale is balanced. A balanced condition is indicated by the level orientation of the beam as it is pivotally suspended.
