When the amount of oxygen absorbed by the exhaust purification catalyst during lean control reaches or exceeds a criterion storage amount, a control is executed to switch to rich control. In addition, a control is executed to set the lean air-fuel ratio setting for a first intake air amount so as to be richer than the lean air-fuel ratio setting for a second intake air amount that is less than the first intake air amount.

摘要： To be able to produce an SCR catalyst (2), in particular one having a zeolite fraction (Z) as catalytically active fraction, in a reliable process and at the same time achieve good catalytic activity of the catalyst (2), an inorganic binder fraction (B) which is catalytically inactive in the starting state and has been treated to develop catalytic activity is mixed into a catalyst composition (4). The inorganic binder component for the binder fraction (B) is, in the starting state, preferably porous particles (10), in particular diatomaceous earth, which display mesoporosity. To effect catalytic activation, the individual particles (10) are either coated with a catalytically active layer (12) or transformed into a catalytically active zeolite (14) with maintenance of the mesoporosity.

The restrictor arrangement defines a restricted passageway that extends towards the first closed end so that exhaust entering the main body interior from the inlet is swirled around the restricted passageway before entering the restricted passageway and passing to a second chamber prior to the aftertreatment substrate.

The emissions cleaning module may include a first conduit, a second conduit, a third conduit, a first end coupling and a second end coupling which together provide a continuous fluid path. A particle burn-off reaction can be started from the at least one sub-volume for a large volume of exhaust-gas purification components. Exhaust-gas purification components in an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine can thus be completely regenerated in an energy-efficient manner. A vehicle having the exhaust-gas treatment device and carrying out the method is also provided.

摘要： It is an object to provide an exhaust gas purification catalyst for a lean burn engine having sufficient NOx purification performance.The exhaust gas purification catalyst for a lean burn engine according to the present invention has a catalyst component including noble metal and ceria supported on a three-dimensional structure. In the whole catalyst, the supported amount of ceria per 1 L of catalyst is 140 to 300 g/L, and in the whole catalyst, is 50 to 98% by mass with respect to the whole coated amount. Furthermore, it is characterized that 50% by mass or more of ceria is included in the same catalyst layer in which noble metal is included, and the amount of noble metal included in the catalyst layer is 0.1% by mass or more with respect to the amount of ceria included in the catalyst layer.

The mixer-evaporator is in the inner channel and the oxidation catalytic converter or particle filter or SCR catalytic converter is ring-shaped and in the ring channel.
