    • A vinyl ceiling grid structure for supporting ceiling panels comprising a two-way connecting member, a one-way connecting member, an angled slat, an inner angled plate, an outer angled plate and a receiving base. Each of these components is formed integrally with plastics and can be selectively assembled together to form a grid system. The one-way and the two way connecting members are provided for the connection of the partitioning board to form the grid structure suspended in the ceiling. The angled plates can either be selected from the inner type or the outer type depending on the application. The receiving base is inserted at the end of the partitioning board so as to be able to connect to the angled slat, forming the vinyl ceiling grid structure for supporting the ceiling panels.

    • An improved ceiling system to be assembled under an existing ceiling. The ceiling system is constructed of materials so as to simulate naturally occurring materials. The support members simulate such items as logs, wooden beams, and the like. Panels between the support member also simulate naturally occurring items like latillas and saguaro ribs. In the preferred embodiment, the support beams are constructed through a casting method and are composed of foam which is then painted to simulate the desired naturally occurring material. In the preferred embodiment of the panels, they are constructed of the same materials so that the resulting assemblage is not only extremely light and easy to install and transport, but, is also less expensive than naturally occurring materials which are becoming scarce.

    • A suspended ceiling system for use in a cleanroom or other application incorporates a framework formed from lengthwise and crosswise frame members which form open areas for mounting components such as air filter modules, light fixture panels, blank panels and the like. The ceiling system includes splice members for connecting the frame members together and clamps for securing the components to the frame members. Suspension members, which preferably engage corresponding fastening members disposed within the frame members, suspend the framework from the ceiling, defining an interior space above the framework. Substantial loads, such as utilities, robotics and wall partitions may be suspended from the framework by clips that engage with the frame members.

    • A separate connector piece for use in constructing a suspended ceiling grid system is provided. The grid system is of the type consisting of a series of parallel longitudinal beams interconnected with a series of perpendicular cross runners. The connector piece is selectively attached to the ends of the cross runners, and forms the interconnections when the cross runners are aligned on opposite sides of a longitudinal beam. The connector pieces of the opposing cross runners extend through a slot located in the longitudinal beam and may be attached to the opposing cross runner, thus forming the interconnection.

    • An elongated channel-shaped structure, preferably of anodized extruded aluminium, is suitable to form the load bearing beam of a false ceiling assembly, in particular comprising absolute filters for the so-called "clean rooms". Such a structure is U-shaped and comprises an elongated and uninterrupted central slot or groove for the fixing to the ceiling, with the concavity of the U-shape directed downward, having outer lateral finnings for the cooling, outer grooves and projections for the coupling with transverse spacers and for supporting absolute filters, as well as inner grooves and projections for supporting electric lines, pipes and other devices and systems. There are also provided extension members directed downward, to be fastened to said structure and having further support and guide fit grooves.

    • Although utilizing an inverted T-bar suspension grid, this ceiling system presents a continuous decorative relief pattern that is visually uninterrupted by T-bars. To this end, each ceiling panel consists of a thin plastic sheet molded to form a three-dimensional decorative relief pattern of symmetric design. The T-bar flanges are covered with thin plastic facing strips having repetitive geometric design elements relief molded therein. Each ceiling panel also includes a molded peripheral shoulder recessed from the adjacent panel surface by an amount at least equal to the combined thickness of the T-bar flange and the facing strip. When the panels are supported by the grid with the recessed shoulders seating on the T-bar flanges, the facing strip design elements align with the symmetric relief pattern of the ceiling panel to present a visually uninterrupted decorative ceiling.
