    • Implementations of the present disclosure relate to systems, methods, and apparatus for connecting one or more wall modules to structural components of a building. At least one implementation includes connections that can allow the wall module to couple to a structural wall. For instance, the wall module can extend away from an end of the structural wall. In particular, the wall module can have a frame that connects to the structural wall on at least one side face and one or more panels that connect to the frame to at least partially conceal the structural wall and the frame from a first vantage point. Accordingly, the structural wall together with one or more wall modules can divide the floor space of a building into one or more individual spaces.

    • An occupiable building and a method for constructing an occupiable space in a structural frame building are disclosed. In an embodiment, an occupiable building includes a structural frame defining a footprint of the occupiable building, at least one lower deck structure located within the footprint of the structural frame and supported by the structural frame, at least one upper deck structure located within the footprint of the structural frame and supported by the structural frame, and an interior partition system installed between the lower deck structure and the upper deck structure to define an occupiable space, the occupiable space having a ceiling. The interior partition system includes first king post assemblies, a lower panel, and an upper panel. The lower panel is fastened to the king post assemblies and to the upper panel. The upper panel is fastened to the king post assemblies and to upper panel.

    • A device useful to block radiation (e.g., X-ray, gamma ray) leakage through a wall joint and screw holes in a lead-shielded structure is provided. The device includes a substantially planar lead strip which is at least the thickness of the lead sheeting covering the structure, and a lead strip holder adapted to hold the lead strip securely in place and attach the lead strip to a metal C stud such that when attached thereto, the lead strip forms a barrier which blocks radiation leaking through the wall joint and adjacent screw holes. Clips can be used to attach the lead strip holder to the stud, wherein each of the clips includes a U-shaped portion to frictionally fit onto a U-shaped portion of the lead strip holder. In various embodiments, the device can be used on vertical or horizontal wall joints.

    • A bracketing system is provided having two brackets joined by an adhesive material that allows a bridge backing member to be mounted between vertical studs to enhance stability of the wall construction. A wall construction assembly according to an embodiment of the invention comprises two vertical studs and a bridge backing member mounted there between by a bracketing system, which includes a left bracket and a right bracket connected by a flexible adhesive material. The bridge backing member has curved flanges that are shorter in length than the web of the bridge backing member. This bridge backing member can then hook securely over the brackets, and abut the vertical studs. The hooking of the bridge backing member of the brackets and shorter flanges allows the bridge backing member to rest on the brackets without the installer having to manually hold the bridge backing member between the studs prior to attachment.
