摘要： A method of thermally insulating an object that requires a Class A standard insulation material, said method comprising suitably locating a metallized polymeric reflective insulation material adjacent said object, wherein said polymeric material is selected from a closed cell foam, polyethylene foam, polypropylene foam, expanded polystyrene foam, multi-film layers assembly and a bubble-pack assembly. The object is preferably packaging, a vehicle or a residential, commercial or industrial building or establishment. The polymeric material may contain a fire-retardant and the bright surface of the metallized layer has a clear lacquer coating to provide anti-corrosion properties, and which meets commercial reflectance criteria.

摘要： A fiberglass material contains glass fibers having graphite evenly distributed thereon. The graphite provides a coating that makes the fiberglass material substantially free of static electricity. Suitable graphite content of the fiberglass material is about 0.25 wt % to about 0.50 wt %, or about 0.25 wt % to about 1.0 wt %, or about 0.8 wt % of dry weight of the glass fibers. The graphite used may be synthetic material or natural material substantially free of silica. Other components of the fiberglass material may include de-dusting oil.

摘要： A method to cast-in-place thermal barriers to create a hollow tubular extrusion is disclosed herein. Clips, configured to engage and lock with a first and a second extrusion profile, maintain a pocket with precise tolerances into which liquid polyurethane is poured. The clips easily engage in a manner to form a hollow tubular extrusion assembly. Once the assembly is made, it becomes very difficult to take the assembly apart. This feature allows the first and the second extrusion profiles to be cut to length or handled without the potential of the assembly coming apart prior to pouring the liquid polyurethane. Once the polyurethane cures, there is no need to remove the clips because the clips are made from a very low conductance material, and the clips can remain as part of the finished product thus saving the expense of removing and discarding the part.

摘要： A relatively thin flat panel of thermal insulating material is provided with an array of holes or apertures, each coaxially aligned or coextensive with a reinforcement bar emanating from a concrete slab forming an interior floor within a structure consistent with the design of a structural engineer of record. Rebar couplers (nipples) are arranged within each of the holes or apertures of the insulating panel having axial lengths greater than the thickness of the panel to extend beyond the panel on both sides thereof. The couplers are threaded both internally and externally. Nuts or threaded washers are threaded and tightened on both sides of each coupler to secure the coupler in place in relation to the panel. Alternatively, fiberglass rebars can be used extending through the insulating panel.
