摘要： Disclosed are compositions useful in a wide variety of applications, including heat transfer fluids which possess a highly desirable and unexpectedly superior combination of properties, and heat transfer systems and methods based on these fluids. The preferred heat transfer fluid comprises from about 1 to about 40 percent, on a weight basis, of carbon dioxide (CO2) and from about 99 to about 60 percent, on a weight basis, of a compound having the Formula I XCFzR3-z (I), where X is a C2 or a C3 unsaturated, substituted or unsubstituted, alkyl radical, each R is independently Cl, F, Br, I or H, and z is 1 to 3. A preferred compound of Formula I is tetrafluoropropene, particularly 1,1,1,3-tetrafluoropropene and/or 1,1,1,3-tetrafluoropropene.

摘要： This invention describes a refrigerating oil composition for natural substance-based refrigerants which comprises (A) a synthetic oil component comprising a polyether compound having a pour point of −10° C. or lower and (B) a mineral oil component comprising sulfur components, wherein the ratio of amounts by weight of component (A) to component (B) is in the range of 25:75 to 99:1 and the amount of the sulfur components derived from component (B) in the composition is in the range of 5 to 1,000 ppm. The refrigerating oil composition has excellent miscibility with natural substance-based refrigerants and, in particular, with ammonia-based refrigerants, exhibits an improved lubricity and used for industrial refrigerators using natural substance-based refrigerants such as ammonia, propane, butane and carbon dioxide.

摘要： There is disclosed an novel refrigeration apparatus and a method of refrigeration. The novel refrigeration apparatus comprises a desorber/evaporator, a gas/liquid compressor operatively connected to said desorber/evaporator, a resorber/condenser operatively connected to said gas/liquid compressor, an expansion device operatively connected to said resorber/condenser and to said desorber/evaporator and a circulating refrigerant comprising carbon dioxide and a liquid co-fluid in which the carbon dioxide is differentially soluble. The refrigeration method comprises compressing carbon dioxide gas and a liquid co-fluid in a gas/liquid compressor to an increased pressure, such that carbon dioxide at least partially dissolves in the liquid co-fluid, and reducing the pressure on the liquid co-fluid containing the dissolved carbon dioxide so that dissolved carbon dioxide comes out of solution with the liquid co-fluid, and recirculating the gaseous carbon dioxide and liquid co-fluid to the gas/liquid compressor.
