摘要： Provided are a recycle method and apparatus for effectively obtaining a recycled alloy powder which is hardly oxidized and which has substantially the same particle diameter as that of alloy powder used for forming a molded body, by using the molded body formed by press molding in manufacturing a rare earth sintered magnet. A method for recycling a powder containing a rare earth element, comprising the steps of: i) placing in an oil a molded body for a rare earth sintered magnet, the molded body comprising a powder containing a rare earth element; ii) arranging the oil and at least a part of the molded body in between a plurality of plate-like first crushing teeth opposed to each other and a plate-like second crushing tooth having at least its part positioned between the adjacent first crushing teeth; iii) rotating at least either one of the plurality of first crushing teeth and the second crushing tooth without contacting to each other such that the first crushing teeth and the second crushing tooth serve to change a part of the second crushing tooth positioned between the adjacent first crushing teeth.

摘要： There are provided a permanent magnet and a manufacturing method thereof enabling carbon content contained in magnet particles to be reduced in advance before sintering even when wet milling is employed. Coarsely-milled magnet powder is further milled by a bead mill in a solvent together with an organometallic compound expressed with a structural formula of M−(OR)x (M includes at least one of neodymium, praseodymium, dysprosium and terbium, each being a rare earth element, R represents a substituent group consisting of a straight-chain or branched-chain hydrocarbon, x represents an arbitrary integer) so as to uniformly adhere the organometallic compound to particle surfaces of the magnet powder. Thereafter, a compact body of compacted magnet powder is held for several hours in hydrogen atmosphere at 200 through 900 degrees Celsius to perform hydrogen calcination process. Thereafter, through sintering process, a permanent magnet 1 is manufactured.

The process comprises circulating a slurry comprising powder(s) forming hard constituents, powder(s) forming binder phase and a grinding liquid through a grinding chamber. The grinding chamber comprises grinding elements and an agitator where the agitator is rotating around an essentially horizontal axis. The process according to the present invention provides a cermet or cemented carbide powder mixture at a significantly reduced milling time.

摘要： A method for producing a rare earth sintered magnet uses granules having an excellent fluidity to improve the dimensional accuracy and production of a compact formed of the granules without significant property losses. The granules are formed by adding an organic liquid to primary alloy particles having a predetermined composition to produce granules having the primary alloy particles adhered together by the organic liquid. Preferably, from 1.5 to 15.0% by weight of the organic liquid is added to the primary alloy particles.

摘要： A method for spherically granulating and agglomerating metal particles such as tantalum and/or niobium powders is described in the present invention, which includes the steps of: a). comminuting the metal particles to form fine particles having D50 less than 50 μm; b). granulating the comminuted metal particles comprising volatile liquid, for example, tantalum and/or niobium particles comprising volatile liquid, to form wet spherical particles; c). still drying the wet spherical particles and removing volatile liquid to form flowable pre-agglomerated particles with increased bulk density; d). heat treating the pre-agglomerated particles; e). screening the heat treated powder to obtain the flowable agglomerated particles. The present invention provides a flowable spherical agglomerated metal particles, and especially tantalum and/or niobium particles having improved properties. The present agglomerated tantalum powder have a flow rate of at least about 2.0 g/sec, a BET surface area of from about 0.2 to about 6.0 m2/g, a FSSS of at least 1.0 μm, a Scott bulk density of from about 1.2 g/cm3 to about 5.5 g/cm3. The present agglomerated niobium powder have a flow rate of at least about 1.0 g/sec, a BET surface area of from about 0.5 to about 8.0 m2/g, a FSSS of at least 1.0 μm, a Scott bulk density of from about 0.7 g/cm3 to about 3.5 g/cm3. Said tantalum and/or niobium metal particles have improved pore size distribution of the sintered anodes and increased pellet crush strength. The present invention further provides an electrolytic capacitor anodes made from the tantalum and/or niobium particles according to the present invention having a capacitance of from about 5,000 μFV/g to about 300,000 μFV/g.
