    • The disclosed dynamic suspension systems include (i) a fluid-filled suspension tube, (ii) a piston rod partially enclosed within the suspension tube, (iii) a first impedance plate coupled to the piston rod and comprising bypass apertures, (iv) a second impedance plate comprising bypass apertures and arranged relative to the first impedance plate to form overlap regions at each point where a portion of a bypass aperture of the first impedance plate overlaps a portion of a bypass aperture of the second impedance plate. In operation, the first or second impedance plates is movable to change a size or number of the overlap regions to adjust a fluid flow rate through the overlap regions to control the speed and/or acceleration of the piston rod as the piston rod moves through the fluid-filled suspension tube.

    • In one embodiment there is a toy skateboard having two configurations. In the first configuration, a pair of non-motorized truck assemblies are attached to the deck, and the upper surface of the deck has a finger engaging region for a user's fingers to engage and move the skateboard. In the second configuration, the rear non-motorized truck assembly is replaced with a motorized rear truck assembly, wherein the movement of the skateboard is controlled by the processor in response to remote signals. In addition, the processor may detect a back EMF voltage generated by the rotation of a motor caused by a manual manipulation of a wheel controlled by the motor. The processor would have sleep and wake states and would transition between the two when the detected back EMF voltage reaches a pre-determined value.

    • A four-wheel steering system for a remote control vehicle. The system includes a pair of steering actuators driving a pair of front bell cranks. A front toe link is pivotally connected to each of the spaced front bell cranks for lateral translation. Right and left front tie rods are each pivotally connected between corresponding ends of the front toe link and a corresponding front steering knuckle. An elongated center tie rod is pivotally connected between one front bell crank and one of a pair of rear bell cranks.
