    • A force sensor with two force input elements to which a force to be measured and a support force are applied. The two force input elements are substantially rotationally symmetrical and are axially spaced apart, and the force to be measured and the support force are applied in radial directions. A spring element, arranged axially between the two force input elements connects these elements and its load-dependent deformation is converted into an electrical signal. A suppression of transverse forces is achieved in a purely mechanical manner so that the influence of transverse forces on the output signal of the force sensor are negligible. Both force input elements are additionally connected to each other by a guide element which encloses the spring element and which has two parallel guide connectors. The guide element is softer in the direction of the force to be measured than in a direction perpendicular thereto.

    • An electronic balance with a balance scale (3) which is movably connected by a parallel guide consisting of an upper (4) and a lower guide rod (5) in a vertical direction to a system carrier (1) fixed to the housing, with at least two wire strain gauges (15) which are arranged in the vicinity of the ends of a guide rod (4), which ends are on the housing side, and which wire strain gauges measure the horizontal forces in the guide rod (4) which are caused by the torque transferred from the balance scale (3) onto the parallel guide, and with electronics which corrects the weight value emitted from the weighing receiver on the basis of the output signals of the wire strain gauges (15) and from stored comer-load correction factors that at least one of the guide rods (4) is supported on its housing-side end on an intermediate piece (18), that this intermediate piece (18) is connected by at least one approximately vertical thin web (13) and by a horizontal thin web (14) to the system carrier (1) fixed to the housing and that at least one wire strain gauge (15) is fastened to the horizontal thin web (14). This makes it possible to obtain a high output signal from the wire strain gauge in the case of a corner load without the stability of the parallel guide being adversely affected.

    • An electronic balance with a system carrier (1) fixed to the housing, a load receiver (2) with two guide rods (3/4) which function as parallel guide, connect the load receiver to the system carried in a vertically movable manner, with four protruding arms (5, 6) which are fastened to the load receiver (2) and carry supports points (7, 8, 9, 10) for a balance scale on their ends and with a low-travel measured value receiver (14, 15) which is loaded either directly by the force of weight acting on the balance scale or with the interpositioning of a translation lever (11). The protruding arms (5, 6) comprise a central recess (19, 20) in front of their ends (17, 18) so that an upper web (21, 23) and a lower web (22, 24) remain and form a parallel guide for the particular support point (7, 8, 9, 10) of the balance scale. Each of the four support points (7, 8, 9, 10) of the balance scale is associated with a wire strain gauge (27, 28, 29, 30) located on one of the associated webs (21, 23). These four or eight wire strain gauges (27, 28, 29, 30) are arranged in such a manner on the webs (21, 23) that they are all expanded, stressed upon an approximately central loading of the balance scale. These four wire strain gauges (27, 28, 29, 30) are wired to two half bridges and the output signals of the two half bridges are added with presettable values to the output signal of the measured value receiver (14, 15).
