摘要： An exercise machine includes a frame and a resistance mechanism attached to the frame. A crank assembly is in mechanical communication with the resistance mechanism, and the crank assembly includes a crank arm, a roller connected to the crank arm, and at least one internal load bearing surface integrated into the roller. A pedal assembly is movably attached to the crank assembly and movable in a performance of an exercise. The pedal assembly includes a pedal beam and a tensioned element that spans a first portion of an underside of the pedal beam. The tensioned element guides the roller with at least one internal load bearing surface during the performance of the exercise.

When the user's exercise rate is above or below the default exercise rate, the presentation of the display programming is adjusted to maintain a temporal relationship between the user's exercise rate and the display programming. The presentation of the display programming can be adjusted by periodically skipping or pausing frames of the display programming to increase or decrease the duration of the display programming.

The exercise machine also includes a lifting member selectively engaged with the weight assembly, and the multiple plates each include at least one lift opening to receive the lifting member. The lifting member is oriented transverse to a plate length and to travel in a transverse direction with respect to the plate length. Further, the exercise machine includes a locking member associated with at least one plate of the multiple plates, and a selector having a first position and a second position. When the selector is in the first position, the locking member is interlocked with the lifting member. When the selector is in the second position, the locking member is disengaged from the lifting member.

摘要： A stationary exercise cycle includes a simulation system for simulating real-world terrain based on environmental and other real-world conditions. Using topographical or other data, an actual location can be simulated. The exercise cycle may include a resistance mechanism that is adjusted based on changes in simulated slope, and by amounts simulating actual frictional and gravitational forces. The simulated speed of the rider, as well as speed and direction of a simulated wind, are used to determine a simulated air speed. Based on the simulated air speed, the simulation system determines the simulated air resistance hindering the rider, and changes reflective of the simulated air resistance are made by the resistance mechanism. The stationary exercise cycle takes into account actual or approximate physical information of the user in determining the real-world conditions that are simulated, including the height, weight, shape, and/or rising position of the rider.
