    • An OCT probe has a sheath to be inserted into a subject; and an optical system within the sheath, for changing the direction of light which propagates from a light source through an optical fiber to irradiate the light onto the subject through a transparent portion of the sheath, and for reflecting the light beam, which is reflected by the subject, to guide the light into the optical fiber. A light output surface, for causing the light to be output from the reflecting surface in a direction obliquely inclined with respect to the inner surface of the sheath, and a reflected light sheath entrance preventing portion, for preventing light reflected by the inner surface of the sheath from entering the optical fiber, are provided in the optical system. The reflected light sheath entrance preventing portion may be formed by providing a cut planar surface portion on the lens.

    • A transponder is selectively mounted on a vehicle. The transponder receives its operation energy through magnetic coupling with the loop coil when the vehicle comes over the loop coil, and transmits predetermined information specific to the vehicle to the vehicle detection circuit. The vehicle detection circuit time divisional performs a supply of the operation energy to the transponder and a reception of the information from the transponder, detects a presence of a vehicle in accordance with a change in the output from the loop coil, and judges from the information received from the transponder whether the detected vehicle is a predetermined vehicle.

    • An image exposure apparatus which can prevent occurrence of color displacement at a low cost is structured to comprise at least three kinds of light sources each of which emits a light of a different wavelength, deflecting device which deflects at least three kinds of emitted light emitted by the light sources in a predetermined scanning direction, a scanning lens which is disposed so that the at least three kinds of emitted light deflected by the deflecting device can be transmitted therethrough and which allows each chromatic aberration of two kinds of emitted light from among the at least three kinds of emitted light to have substantially the same characteristics, clock generating device for generating a scanning clock for the two kinds of emitted light and a scanning clock for emitted light other than the two kinds of emitted light, each frequency of the scanning clocks being determined in advance so that the two kinds of emitted light and the emitted light other than the two kinds of emitted light have substantially the same scanning lengths on an exposure surface, and modulating device which modulates the two kinds of emitted light based on image data and the scanning clock for the two kinds of emitted light, and also modulates the emitted light other than the two kinds of emitted light based on image data and the scanning clock for the emitted light other than the two kinds of emitted light.
