    • A photosensitive material processor having a processing tank for processing a photosensitive material includes a circulating pipeline having a circulating pump for circulating a liquid in the processing tank; a first pump for supplying for supplying a stock solution to a mixing tank; a second pump for supplying a dilution liquid to the mixing tank; a supply pipeline for connecting the mixing tank and a portion of the circulating pipeline upstream of the circulating pump so that the processing solution prepared in the mixing tank is supplied to the processing tank; and a controller for controlling the first and second pumps so that a ratio of periods of discharge of the liquids becomes a predetermined ratio and for operating the circulating pump when the stock solution and the dilution liquid are supplied to the mixing tank by predetermined amounts. Accordingly, in a case where the processing solution is supplied to an empty processing tank, since the circulating pump is operated when the stock solution and the dilution liquid are supplied to the mixing tank by predetermined amounts, the processing solution is sucked by the circulating pump, and air is prevented from remaining in the supply pipeline and the like.

    • An oil groove capable of holding oil is formed on the inside surface of a camshaft bearing consisting of a cylinder head and a cam cap, at a position where the valve spring force acts. Oil is supplied to the oil groove from a cavity in a camshaft via an orifice provided in the camshaft. Since the part of the camshaft bearing which is exposed to the severest frictional contact is preferentially lubricated and at the same time the camshaft bearing as a whole can be well lubricated, even when the oil supply pressure from oil pump is insufficient on account of low engine speed or even when the viscosity of oil is low due to high temperature and thereby the oil film at the camshaft bearing is very thin, the camshaft bearing can be maintained in a well-lubricated state by the oil held in the oil groove, and thereby the binding can be prevented.

    • An induction system for a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine that improves fuel efficiency and reduces the emission of unwanted exhaust gas constituents, particularly at the low and medium load conditions. The engine induction system comprises a plurality of separate carburetor barrels which, at least under some running conditions, serve cylinders separately from each other through main induction passages. One carburetor barrel is provided with a different fuel discharge system than the other carburetor barrels for accommodating a certain engine operating condition. A separate sub-intake system connects this carburetor barrel with other cylinders not normally served by the particular carburetor barrel in question. This sub-intake system has a substantially smaller cross-sectional area in the main intake system so that the charge drawn into the cylinders through the sub-intake system enters at a substantially higher velocity. This improves combustion by creating turbulence under at least some operating conditions. Several embodiments of throttle valve constructions are disclosed for insuring complete closure and sealing of at least one throttle valve of the induction control system for precluding leakage. In some embodiments this is accomplished by providing a resilient section in the throttle body and in other embodiments the result is obtained by providing a resilient seal on the periphery of the throttle valve.
