摘要： In a watt-hour meter in which first and second input signals representing an analog electric current and an analog voltage of an alternating current are converted into first and second digital signals, a first adder produces a sum signal which represents a sum of the first input signal and an additional analog signal of a frequency different from that of the first input signal and which is substituted for the first input signal. The meter may further comprise a second adder which adds another additional analog signal to the second input signal. Alternatively, the meter comprises low-pass filters and oversample-and-convert circuits to produce the first and the second input digital signals.

摘要： In a thermal transfer recording method for use in a recording apparatus using a roll of recording paper of an ordinary paper material wound about a core and a strip of ink ribbon would about an ink ribbon feeding roll, recording is effected by means of a thermal head while both the recording paper and the ink ribbon are transported forwardly in the superimposed state. During transportation of the recording paper and the ink ribbon after the recording, they are parted away one from the other and only the recording paper is transported to an automatic cutter by means of which a part of the recording paper on which recording has been effected is cut off. After completion of cutting operation an unused parts of the recording paper and the ink ribbon are transported backwardly to the position where the leading end of the thus returned recording paper is located in the proximity of the thermal head.

摘要： A supervisory control system for an electric power system comprises a synchronized encoder for producing digital signals from voltage and/or current data detected by at least one of a number of detecting devices for such data coupled to the power system at various points. Inherently stationary data detected by similar detecting devices are converted into digital signals by asynchronous encoders. Responsive to such digital signals, data processing means produces address signals representative of the addresses of the detecting devices and processes the digital signals in compliance with programs for various supervisory control and with reference to the address signals to produce control signals, which are sent to circuit breakers, voltage regulators, and the like to protect the power system against troubles.

摘要： One object of the present invention is to provide a new arrangement for an optical module that enables to align the optical fiber with the semiconductor optical device in active alignment technique. The optical module of the present invention includes a container, a base and a ferrule assembly. The ferrule assembly integrates the optical fiber, the ferrule and the holder, in which the ferrule secures the optical fiber in a center thereof and the holder having a V-groove secures the ferrule in the V-groove. The container has a depression, one end of which is opened, for receiving the ferrule therein. The semiconductor optical device is mounted on a region opposite to the open of the depression of the container. Both sides of the depression are regions on a primary surface of the container, and, when the holder is placed on these two regions, the ferrule is set within the depression with gaps against side surfaces of the depression. Thus, by sliding the holder on the container, the optical fiber can be actively aligned with the semiconductor optical device mounted on the container in directions parallel to the optical axis and within the primary surface of the container.
