    • A resin filling device for a laminated iron core, the resin filling device being used when a magnet insertion hole provided in the laminated iron core of a rotor for an electric motor is filled with a molten resin for fixing a magnet. The resin filing device configured with a resin feeding mold, an opposing mold, and a pressing mechanism that applies a compression force with the laminated iron core sandwiched between the resin feeding mold and the opposing mold. The resin feeding mold includes one or more discharge outlets arranged so as to face the opening of the magnet insertion hole, and configured to include a diameter reducing part in which an inner diameter is reduced gradually along a discharge direction of the molten resin. A diameter reducing part is arranged inside of the laminated iron core.

    • A squib includes an SCB chip connected to electrode pins so as to ignite by externally applied electric current, and a capacitor electrically connected to the electrode pins in parallel with a thin film resistor on the SCB chip. The capacitor is arranged above the header, and the SCB chip is directly mounted on the capacitor so that the thin film resistor on the SCB chip and the capacitor are electrically connected through electrodes provided on a substrate of the SCB chip, while the size of the SCB chip is smaller than that of the capacitor. In this way, the invention provides the squib which effectively eliminates surface unevenness when the capacitor is located, and enables the connection of the SCB chip and the capacitor to the electrode pins only by one reflow process, and further makes it possible to use an even smaller chip than those used in the prior art.

    • A first hollow control shaft is rotatable within a housing between actuating and restoring positions with intermediate ON-OFF positions therebetween. A first insulating actuator is rotatable within the housing to operate at least a pair of normally open contacts. A second insulating actuator is slidable along a predetermined path and normally biased to operate normally closed contacts and engageable with the first actuator by a lost motion connection which permits the second actuator to move in a limited range with respect to the rotational movement of the control shaft. A second control shaft is journaled through the first control shaft. A pinion gear is mounted on the second shaft. A rack is slidable within the housing and engages the pinion. An elevating mechanism is provided on which an induction heating coil of the induction heating apparatus is placed to adjustably heat a utensil located adjacent the coil. A connecting wire couples the rack and the elevating mechanism to effect raising and lowering of the coil to a desired position by rotation of the second shaft.
